I think teams have figured out if he goes off on a scoring spree its not good enough.

probably why he insists on trying to bring in ballhandling guards, but i still don't think it's a good idea. we just have to adjust and not iso with him. when we didn't iso, we seemed to be running weird pick and rolls with guards setting the screens, making lebron pulling up from three even more likely.

Yeah teams can just stick a big on him and he can't get by them in the halfcourt. Some of it is fatigue but most is just age.

He's fatigued: he blew by quicker bigs like Mobley when he has energy.

He missed an open 3 to tie the game otherwise he was an MVP caliber player. Can't ask for much more considering that they're using the Lebron at C lineup way too much.
On the defensive end he had to box out Adams to the end of the game: really mind blowing they didn't use Howard at all in the 4th.

38 minutes and he played the entire 4th (at center as previously mentioned) it too much

Yup, they are going to run him into the ground eventually. Sure, he's a tank, but even his body has limits.

He's been on an incredible run these past couple games but even then its not enough to get the win... but with all the mins and load he has to carry, might not make it to the all star break.

I wonder if he’s silently frustrated with Russ because he chose that dude to come in and prevent this from happening(LeBron having to carry the team).

43 points and his most dominant performance in a bit. At 37, he let's the NBA know he's still King. If he keeps these December numbers up, he's going to rightfully be in the MVP mix.

Best part, he got some much needed/ well deserved rest on a back to back.

Loved seeing him quarter backing the defensive coverage on pick and rolls from the paint tonight. That was super useful!

I’m not going to take back my frustrations with both AD and LeBron with their approach to the start of the season. They were both sleep walking through games. I’m happy to see that LeBron has been locked back in the past few weeks and when AD comes back, I will be expecting him to match this energy.

If Lebron and AD play like they are capable, we might be able to salvage the season.

Anyone else think LeBron is like a cheat code as a small ball floor stretching 5? This makes so much sense even when AD comes back. Looks so much easier and more efficient for him to get to the basket, score, fire the ball out to open teammates if they try to double him …. or take it outside for 3s and playmaking from there, mixing it up. Down low he’s stronger and can bully his way to the rim against so many of the smaller starting centers in the league. 6’9” 250lbs with the skills also to play the point, rebound and go coast to coast. At 37. Amazing!

I think they’re starting now honestly. Vogel has his defense capable rotation players finally and we can score the ball.
