Missionaries take sabbaticals and sometimes they use the $ from the side-hustles or other jobs to finance their missions work.
You’ve just described playing for the Lakers perfectly. And our team has a cult like following, so I’m seeing a perfect fit.
We should start this lineup for the lols: PG - IT SG - Darren Collison SF- Rondo PF - THT C - Westbrook
don't understand the need for collison when they already have IT, rondo, and monk the fascination with small guards is weird at this point
IT is gone, I don’t think we’re bringing him back after his 10 day expires. Maybe Bradley and Monk are symptomatic and looking like they may not clear protocol for a bit longer? In which case I do think we would want a little more guard depth for the time being. Or … conspiracy time: we already know we’re screwed until all the Covid guys are back available and 100%, so we’re just doing these IT and Collison signings to get some good will amongst the player base around the league. Does feel like whenever one of these washed up players get another chance and has a solid game, I see a bunch of positive “see I told you so” tweets from other players.
Whoo boy I don’t even want to touch this one. All I’ll say is I feel really sorry for him, having to give up his dream he worked his whole life for way before he normally would have had to retire. Clearly the desire to get back has been burning inside him, making him live a super conflicted life, such is the life of those he chose to be a part of.
IT is unplayable. they should have gone after collision in the first place (If they wanted another PG)
Lakers have been trying to sign Collison for a few years. I’m sure he knew the spot was his if he wanted it.
There are fans, then there are SUPERFANS……of complaining, that is. He’s a 10 day contract guy, he’s not here to save the Lakers season.
That finally happened. Let's see if we can get 2-3 good games from him. I mean... probably not, but you never know. We just need to buy some time at this point.
Lets see what he has. Would have been helpful the year we flirted with signing him. One of the better “washed up guys trying to get back” available.
