He should be making a case for the first 2-way spot and Ayayi should have his taken away and given to Queen.
Anyone know how it works with 2 way contracts with regard to .... are teams allowed to waive a 2 way player like maybe Ayayi (still pay them) and give that 2 way to another player like maybe: Chaundee Brown ? OK according to this (I think) yes can be waived (not guaranteed?) and replaced up until the deadline months from now. https://www.hoopsrumors.com/2020/01/checking-in-on-nbas-two-way-contracts-2.html
This guy has potential. He has quick feet, good size for a wing, etc. If he gets his shot together, he's an NBA player.
Yeah this is super puzzling, I thought Brown showed some potential as a bench player. Huff, we haven’t even seen meaningful minutes from.
All I can think of is a better opportunity presented itself and we wanted to do right by him and not stand in the way? That's all that makes sense.
I’m puzzled at the fact that you guys are puzzled about this. Brown did not stand out to me at all. He looked very mediocre. I think it makes much more sense to keep Huff on the two-way, considering we need front court depth. Not going to hold his lack of playing time against him considering Brown didn’t do anything great with his playing time. I could even see them cutting Huff too down the line, doesn’t matter to me. I’m on board with shuffling our two-way contracts until we find a legitimate diamond in the rough.
