that's good. His stats are really important to him. Except finals wins record and turnover record, but otherwise, super important.

People might get bent out of shape about it, but it's true. His only path to be considered the all time greatest (Which he already declared himself lol) is to pad his stats and stick around til he's the all time leading scorer even though he's a pass first player. (wink wink)

He may go down as the best all around player ever on offense, but he's too limited in other areas to ever be considered the greatest unless there is some serious rewriting of history that occurs.

Why go here? Someone acknowledges that he'll pass Malone if "x happens" and your first instinct is to drag him?

because he's playing uninspired ball, putting up empty stats, and seems to be completely ok with that

We're all entitled to our opinions. You don't have to like them or agree with them.

If we had that LBJ on this team, we win the game last night.

The older version got a little fatigued.

All good. I'll just check the stats.

@Casual+ doesn't know that Lebron is my favorite player, but I still call things as I see them because that's how I roll. Being a member of the illuminati doesn't exempt you from criticism.

Not sure where this is coming from though: he's been playing really well outside of the Minnesota game since his return. He's basically back to MVP level and was frustrated with the loss last night. I hate to play "are you watching the games card" but this certainly seem to fit the bill here. He's been asked to play out of position as a 37 yo and isn't complaining about and takes on the defensive assignment at the end of the game with a key block and that is playing uninspired?

Kind of crazy like folks saying he doesn't have a post game out of one play last night: it's like people have memories of him from his first Cleveland game. Lebronto and the Miami finals were basically him living in the post. THere is certainly criticism that can be backed by fact (arrgh the whole westbrook trade) but the first sentence doesn't fit that.

LeBron James has played 44% of his minutes this season at the Power Forward in those minutes he’s averaged:

    • 76% At The Rim (95th Percentile)
    • 58.3 eFG% (87th Percentile)
    • 37% from three (67th Percentile)
    • 2.0 BLK% (93rd Percentile)
    • 81.8 FT%

well, it may be, but it's also his second and third instinct!! Hate to do that to anyone who is a Lakers player, unless my hope is to trade him. What I actually hope for is that Lebron can somehow figure out a way to win another ring or two. Though, at this point, I am beginning to think it may not happen.

Forced to play out of position? I hate to play the didn’t you read the article card, but Lebron and AD both volunteered to change positions and approach to recruit and accommodate Westbrook. He can absolutely never use that excuse as he’s always had a PF body. Center? Yes. PF, no way.

Lebron needs to give up the rock and change his approach to the game at 37. This team goes nowhere with him scoring 30. Those are empty stats if they don’t lead to victories.

one game or a couple of games doesn’t make him inspired. His season long play has been uninspired. Turn it around and win games and I’ll change my tune for sure.

You're not watching game lol: he's been playing backup center for the last few weeks not just last night
And talk about moving the goal posts we're now into empty stats unless you win?

He's been hurt and then Covid protocol and he's been really really good for 7 our of the last 8 games. Only the Minnesota game was when he looked off and tired.
Considering he's only played 19 games so far that with the first 1/2 of that he was in and out of lineup with injuries/covid protocols I think you need to do better with the trolling

You want me to watch entire games and suffer with everyone else? What kind of a friend are you?

    :ADnaughty:

May we all see the Lebron you see. So far I see us barely above .500, so I find nothing impressive or praiseworthy at the moment.

Amazing player still to this day.. But man, what a stupid decision to okay the Westbrook trade.
