He's 6'5" 195lbs, I mean I'm 6'2" and have fluctuated between 200lbs and 230 lbs and 200 lbs is skinny on me so I think 20 pounds of muscle, especially in legs and hips and 10lbs in shoulders, arms, pecs, is doable for him. Not easy to do by any means, it's major body alteration and he'd definitely need some expert training but he could do it and maintain speed. 6'5" is not a hard frame to wear 215-220lbs of muscle. THT is 6'4" 240lb and is probably quicker laterally than AR15 and doesn't look that heavy at all IMO.

OK. And actually he's only a quarter inch shy of 6'6". So almost 6'6". In shoes. The only measurement I care about or it gets confusing. No one wants to talk about these guys playing barefoot.

The shot was perfect, the net barely moved, he threw up a perfect shot, went right down the center of the net. I hope the other Laker players have more trust to kick out to him when he's open. The kid just has that Larry Bird type IQ bout him, not as talented of course, but he made some electric passes, plays hard, and looked like a sniper vs the Mavs.

Wish he didn't look so weak and pale. Probably fragile too. Damn.

Arrgh he's not Caruso: yeah he has high bball IQ and is white but otherwise, they're games are significantly different

Caruso is much more athletic both in terms of speed and hops which leads to be a better finisher and a bigger threat in transition. OTOH his jumper tends to be unreliable
Reaves is ground pound but the form on his jumper is much better and he already looks like a better shooter then AC and he's also a better passer.

I don't know about Caruso being much faster running, or even faster. I've been watching Reaves when he has to turn it on, and his combine sprint wasn't bad. That could be a not so accurate observation. Agree with rest but you left out AR's far better handles coming out at 23 than AC, in fact may even be better than AC today. We just don't get to see him use them in his current role often.

I’m pretty sure the comparison is that they were both undrafted players. It’s ridiculous to find contributors of this caliber from the undrafted pool. Anyway here’s a podcast with an interview with the writer of that excellent Reaves article, Mirin Fader

Don't trust combine metrics that much TBH vs real game: you have weird things where guys like Barbaso scored low in the combine vs other prospects but in real time he was so much faster then most everyone in his class

Overall I agree: AC has more of a classic SG game while Reaves is more of PG in a bigger frame

OK I just threw that in with the combine because I noted all the drills when I went specifically to check on his vertical. Which if he can gather and go off 2 feet is around 36" and I verified frame by frame the last game with the eyeball test on one rebound. Same as my main point about the statement that AC is much faster. I have been watching specifically for that and without them racing each other I'll just say I doubt he is much faster. May even be very close. And speed is a good distinction in their comparison. But yeah running and leaping off one leg to dunk, AC definitely has him there. And for now at least, AC's quicker laterally for sure on defense.
