    He’s new. And was doing fine first week or so. Don’t know what happened that changed that.

    Wait … yes it all started when there was pushback on his statement that Fish who we all love and was a valuable part of our 3-peat and 2-peat ….. was “elite” as a pure point guard. So launched into who really wasn’t “elite” … Pau Gasol. Just lucky to have been a Laker. About 3-4 days ago and downhill since.

    He might not have made the HOF without the Lakers but we wouldn’t have won consecutive championships without him. And he did play for the Lakers and he had a fantastic international career as well. So your point is a bit moot. Bottom line is he’s going to the HOF whether you think he is or deserves to be there. He’ll be first ballot. Care to bet on it?

    He won rookie of the year and already was an all star early in his career with every probability of more all star selections because he was THAT good. PLUS the international acclaim and success. Whether he came to the Lakers or not. So of course agree with @lakerjones here.

    dude I love the guy , yes he was a major pick up for our Back2Back, no denying there … but people tend to forget Nobody wanted to come to LA to play along side KOBE … and the ONLY reason we got lucky to get PG for basically nothing was Jerry west .

    That’s all I am saying , so I see a hint of agreement with the new guy .

    but to say ONLY playing for SPAIN was good enough to get him into HOF, without LAKERS, I disagree

    I think the worst team in NBA will absolutely destroy SPAIN with PAU on it.

    We didn’t get him for nothing though. Yes we dumped Kwame Brown but we gave Memphis his brother Marc in that trade. It wasn’t as lopsided as folks thought at the time.
