Don't worry the Lakers will find HBL next: Hillbilly Lebron from West Virginia (hopefully he looks like Jerry West as well)

We really could have used him tonight. What’s up Vogel?

I am not satisfied with that answer.
I guess that’s because I’m starting to board the “Frank’s Rotations Don’t Make Sense” train.

This is the crap I am talking about. Screw you Vogel. That one was on you. You had Reaves at your disposal and you CHOSE not to use him. Now that's just plain old stupid.

How is it that Vogel can just go completely brain dead? He takes some blame for this $%&* show. Starting to feel like maybe almost as much as the FO.

I gave him leeway before, I said give him time, but after last game's utter debacle all my goodwill goes away. He's part of the problem.

Yeah, maybe give someone a breather for 3 minutes, instead of playing them 20 minutes straight from the 4th through the 3 overtimes, and if he's playing good D and looking OK leave him in longer.

Leash was waaay too short tonight. It’s not like we don’t have other guys who cough up the ball occasionally.

He's been on the shelf for a bit, maybe he's letting him with himself back into it?

Does anyone else on the team more “conspicuously” box out every time a shot goes up and they’re near the basket? Maybe the others are above being that obvious about it. It’s not part of being cool? Stuff only undrafted rookies do to suck up to the coach?

I think it's a lost art because most of these guys were blessed with size and athleticism and were able to outrebound the competition growing up due to their naturally inherited advantages. Boxing out is a lost art because these guys never developed their fundamentals and often times - while boxing out helps your team get the rebound - the guy boxing out may not be the one who gets to pad his stats.

setting screens, boxing out, maintaining spacing, and making smart cuts. all stuff junior high teams teach that make you unusual in the nba.

Man I don't know what it is but am scratching my arms and all jittery and shaky feeling. Must be hooked and need a fix. Went back several pages to grab the longer All of HbK's Lakers highlights from Youtube I put up awhile back and spam it again here, but the commie (;)) NBA party members have already shut it down am guessing. Well here's another one until it gets similar treatment probably. Same joy as in watching the Eagle play the game, and am hopelessly attached to the Kid already. :p

How is this not better than what AB does? While being close to 4 inches taller and therefore easier to switch on D?

Yeah I don’t get why he didn’t get back in after his first run. I thought he played pretty well, good defense, some nice passes, can’t fault him if the recipients didn’t make the shots. Maybe they want him to be less unselfish and take some shots, that’s the only thing he didn’t do that you could point to.
