i'd like to hear more about that. what is the extra work? does the center have to move more in our current defensive scheme? if so, why do we have dwight and dj?

He can’t take defensive plays off as the Center. Lebron usually just picks his spots and plays a defensive safety like Kobe used to in his last years.

Well, when it comes to having mobile 5 who can stretch the floor, Bron can certainly do that. But, unlike, say, Draymond, he has to be productive on the offensive end for us, so... I don't know how long he's going to be able to keep that up.

Well .... I'm going to assume, unless he's faking it and just doing it for effect (likely ) .... Bron's a physical guy and likes the contact. Why else would he roll his shoulders in that flexing look at Me motion he does after coming out on top of a physical play under the basket? Plus he totally likes breaking things. Witness like against Indiana, pre-maturely, he did the Breaking their whole damn Team over his knee motion after a second dagger 3 late. Unfortunately we had to play an overtime. And lastly he broke out his most "physical" new thing recently .... with that nasty back forearm / knuckle strike he used on Stewart. Look the hell out !

We all know LBJ won't bang inside with other bigs. Bigs like Isaiah Stewart.

Lebron was awful down the stretch tonight. Odd and tough to see that. He should have given up the ball more.

I thought the hero ball he tried in the first OT where we ran the same play the entire OT cost us the game.

    Awful from deep last night.

sounds like we lost this game the same way we won the indy game...with an untenable strategy.

if AD and lebron want to shoot threes, then give the ball to russ. at least he'll try to do literally anything else.

    Saw on Reddit:

    Lebron pulled a Westbrook
    2/13 3’s
    7 TOs
    Hero ball

On a night that Westbrook had 29, 11 and 10 on 10 for 18 shooting and 50% on threes.

That was baaaaad down the stretch. If they said Kobe was a selfish ballhog chucker, how is this any different? Worthy said it best, this isn’t team ball, why sign a bunch of shooters if you don’t pass to them.

It isn’t any different. He was selfish down the stretch - and he did not hit the shots.

I don't think his conditioning is there. Before he got hurt he was able to get to the rim pretty easily against good defensive teams like Cleveland. Not much lift since he's come back

    Man, you read my mind.

During the first 5 game or so, there were a couple of different instances he broke down Desmond Bane and Wiggins earlier in the season. The latter being a better defender; still, he was more explosive.

This is the thing: he just played an OT game where the team relied heavily on him to win it. And now in a triple OT game, with as much mileage on his legs, he's going to be spent.

However, if that's the case, and you know Russ has it going, just give him the keys to bring it home.

This is why he is here.

You should tweet that to LeBron since typically he does what he wants to do in games or gets coaches fired if they bug him too much about his choices on the floor.
