    I may answer to your complain with reasoning and help you deal with that irrational take with some logic.
    I understand it's like a screaming room, but if no one counters whatever it's said here, it will be helpful for anyone?

    I think this topic is used to talk when we lose and Optimism when we win.
    Also because is not really that irrational to type a whole answer in a specific thread in an online forum, so if we are venting we won't come here.

    Just sharing my thoughts. Thanks for answering and I'm good with following whatever the community wants this thread to be

    Oh you’re allowed to be optimistic in here, I didn’t mean to imply it was against the rules. I was half serious with my comment and half having fun, abeer is one of my favorite posters on the site, I’d hope he knows that. My point was only to say if you don’t have great results trying to be optimistic in here, there’s a reason why, it’s not for that. It doesn’t have to be taken that seriously, it’s the WMC thread, we’ve had one for years and years now, we know the drill.

    I get that the negativity is off the charts right now and it can be annoying, but this thread specifically is for that negativity, it’s a place to put it no judgement. Any other thread here if someone is being negative you can debate them, question them, try to change their mind, etc, but this one that’s kinda not the point. Most complaints here are echoed in each player or coach’s specific thread, so there’s plenty of opportunity, that’s all I’m saying. You can use this thread however you like, there’s no official rules for it, just, you know, expect someone like me to repeat what it’s for if I’m called out for being negative in the thread for negativity.

    I feel I should chime in here just to help clarify a bit if I may. I don't post here often but I am the original creator of the very first WMC back on the old Lakers board. The reason for the thread was because 80% of the other threads would get derailed into hate and bashing of our team and players. What would usually be great discussions turned into 2 people going back and forth illogically for pages. This usually happened more frequently after games which we lost. The WMC was created so people could vent without having to be attacked for the rational or irrational anger in the moment while also saving threads from derailment.

    You can absolutely come in and discuss someone's point but understand what the room is for when doing so. I for one have, in the past, negated someone's point in here because I thought it was over the top hate. Usually, for me though, I stay out of it and let people vent. If I want to have a discussion on if Westbrook is good or not for us I'll do it with posters who are thinking logically not emotionally which is much more likely to be found in the Westbrook (or westbrick I think its titled at present) thread.

    Hope that adds some clarity. Now time for me to crawl back into my hole.

    We have no chemistry, things get tough and we quit, we collapse, start taking lazy jumpers, playing apathetic defense. There’s no heart to this team right now, LeBron came back and he didn’t fix our biggest issues, as you’d expect he wouldn’t, this isn’t NBA 2K. But yeah, C Bags swinging the ball around for good open shots, driving to the rim and scoring at will, we struggle for every point, so many iso plays. Just a badly constructed team, I guess that’s why being good on paper is just that, on paper. We’re a sub .500 team now and we look every bit of it.

    Well, the Lakers are getting blown out by a crummy C Bags team on my 40th birthday. At this point I just have to hope this is the low point for the season.

    Well as I said in the game thread:

    we don’t rebound
    We don’t defend
    We don’t give 48 minutes of effort
    Our pieces don’t fit and we don’t have a guy on our staff who can make it work.

    Glad we got our championship in 2020 as I’m just not seeing it with this group.
