You never once cut any slack though reminded a thousand times (maybe 2K times) that AC was playing hurt in the Phoenix series, nor will you likely, in spite of what he’s doing this year away from LeBron in Chicago, come off the …. no more no less he’s a decent player and role players come and go …. they don’t move the needle. Many here adjust their takes while that just seems not in your style once you’ve taken a hard stance. He HAS continued to get better and we do miss him obviously.

people needed scapegoats last year, for whatever reason. when the real issue was star health. hell, if lebron had played all the games so far, we'd have like, two losses and be in second place.

and just like last year, with all those losers, when he was out, we lost to a bad team...twice. and that's with our third star in the fold.

so, if we have lebron and AD we win a lot. and if we only have one, we don't. it's not kyle kuzma's fault.

Adjust my take for what? Ok Alex was hurt, when exactly? I can't remember. I know he played more minutes per game against Phoenix than he avg in the regular season. Maybe he was hurt in game 6 IDK. Kudos to him for gutting it out then. NO I don't care what any of them are doing away from LA, they don't play here anymore. Especially 12 games into a season, we can talk about it in May though. However I wish them all the best in their careers, some of these kids have thrived elsewhere. That doesn't mean that I missed them, in relation to how they left, or would have changed anything about it. I hope he becomes a starter and really gets paid on his next contract. Today though, NO.. I wouldn't have paid him 10 million a year to stay either. At the expense of who on this team currently? for a 35 million dollar tax bill? Nope..We will just have to disagree on the subject

I always said that he was a star in his role here, I also said that 20 mins a game is not a huge impact player IMO. That goes against the grain, because he was a popular player here, I get that, had it from the jump. My opinion is still the same. At the end of the day some of you guys liked Caruso more than I did, that's cool.

Yeah we shall examine what's what after the season is over shall we? Those guys had a full season and a playoff's to judge...12 games aint it brother.

Kyle, KCP, Caruso, Trezz, and Shroder had ample opportunities to step up without the big two and we finished in a play in game. Let's see this season plays out.

a full season and a title wasn't enough for you? one system is proven. the other is hypothetical and currently floundering.

You don't quite get it...so let me put it to you this way. I said after we won the chip and also after last season. That you could swap out the ENTIRE roster, outside of Lebron and AD and the Lakers would still be a title favorite. Is that clear enough for you? Role players are replaceable IMO, as long as the stars are playing like stars. Our two played like two guys in the top 5, it wasn't the role players. Last year they were both hurt, that group around them didn't move the needle much at all, above being a damn near lottery team. It would seem that Rob agreed with that assessment, but he hedged his bets by bringing in Russ. We are either goin to win the chip this year or not. I most definitely believe that this group will fare better without Lebron or AD than that bunch last year. If we don't have injuries' and win it all, what is there to argue about , we are still Champions. If disaster strikes, let's actually see how it plays out before judging anything. That's the beauty of live sports, the games will be played, after they are done we can decide who was "right" . 12 games don't mean much when you expect to play over 100.

yeah, you're the master of edification. you've proven it time and again.

anyway, i'm guessing you're conceding that the role players weren't the problem last year, so that's progress.

You understand it perfectly now right?" Role players are all replacable"....So let the games play, and we can chop it up about who we are missing or who we aren't missing later. We won't be influencing any opinions after 12 games either way. Russ isn't a role player.

Playing against every team with a main star out dude. Giannis was still hurt going into that series.. once he got back to normal, it was over.

He has a little more size on him.

Can play more of an SG/SF told without truly losing size at the position.

Baze has been hit garbage and Monk has been hit and miss.

    It's early, though.

ross is a career-long bad defender.

just give me some defense, please. we went out and got shooters and upped our percentage by 2 points while bottoming out as a team defense. yuck.

    Is he? I believe you.

    I'm not looking it up.

    We need a bigger wing.
