    Kobe hated losing. He would have demanded the slips spend for better players. Sterling was too cheap to do that, so Kobe would have eventually walked.

    No offense to anyone but when you screw something up like this and kill someone who is at the beginning of a long post pro ball career, it should cost you a lot. Everyone involved messed up. I imagine it cost Kobe's family a billion dollars.

    This isn’t against the copter company, it’s the sheriff’s dept (?) and LA County for the actions of the cretins who took the photos at the site and were spotted later showing them around. Undisclosed amount of money for the severe emotional distress caused by knowing this happened. But now they’re going to claim they were never made public and she never saw them and they want a psychological evaluation. As mentioned am just guessing they likely tried to settle but wasn’t accepted so now going to fight against the suit and claims of how much distress.
