That Rockets team is one of the worst I’ve ever seen, not a single even borderline franchise player. They may even be worse than OKC, should have won by 30, that’s my WMC, they once again F’ed around and looked ugly. Hell, we scored 11 points in like the final 7 1/2 minutes and we should not have needed our starters to close the game. We’re just lucky this is our schedule right now, we should be 5-2 and beating up on there bad teams.

yeah, with a lead that big for most of the game, westbrook and lebron shouldn't have had to play 35 minutes each.

I agree, Houston isn't a NBA team right now. OKC has SGA and Dort. Houston has college players (or the equivalent) who aren't ready for the NBA.

NO excuse for the offensive droughts, especially at home. Either get Melo in if we haven't scored in 3 minutes or run some action for him if he's in that stagnant lineup

Monk has sucked the last couple of games, another guy from the bench need to step up and score and not just rely on Me7o, Nunn and THT need to come back ASAP

i think he needs more than 6 shots. but if he doesn't defend, he can't stay on the floor long enough to get them. he'll either get it or he'll be on another vet min next year.

My WMC is Monk and Bradley combining for 1-11, Houston with 29 free throws to our 13 and Lakers shooting 61% on the few we got. Plus that gross ball licking by that Houston player. Somebody on their team needs to tell him to stop that.

What’s the big deal …. don’t they clean the floor sections each time they take it apart? That the ball bounces on?

I'd like to see the team get a killer instinct and crush the weaker teams. Instead, they keep letting off the gas and that's a big factor in all of our losses so far.

didn't see this one, but i read that lebron started jacking threes with the big lead. he's done this the past two years, too. i think the vets want to try to put things out of reach with minimal effort instead of just doing what it took to get the lead, then resting afterwards.

He's from Turkey. They are cut from different cloth. And yes, I've been to Turkey.

Right. You can clearly see the change in effort when watching the games.

Agreed completely. This is why I’m anxious to get some of our injured bench guys back. They should provide more spark and push leads giving the starters some rest. Nunn and Ellington should both help there.

That's my hope as well. Especially if it really is just guys trying to rest. Less minutes will hopefully lead to them playing more intensely for their entire time out there.

Looks like a good chunk of the season is going to be spent eking out wins, extending the bare minimum amount of energy and effort to enter the playoffs healthy. Let’s hope some defensive chemistry develops along the way.

If they continue like this, their defense might be #14 in the league by All-star break.

i mean, as of now, he definitely is the biggest one. whether that's a season-long problem, who knows?
