I liked the Baze & Bradley combination last night.

Idk if Bradley can consistently hit open 3's, but I do think he can add value on this team.

Frank is going to side with defense everytime, and who can argue the results if we're winning?

He shot well for us at the start of the championship season too as a starter until he got hurt and couldn’t quite get back to that level after, before Covid interrupted the season and he of course opted out of the Bubble.

It's impossible to know what to expect from him at this point. He's either very good, or invisible.

    Yeah, for sure. :)

"Invisible" with 0 in every category is actually impressive in its own bizarre way.

If he can contribute defensively I do think he will make it tough for the team to move him. Really depends on how well guys like Ellington can shoot when they get back.

Right. If we win and he plays good defense I can see him having enough value to stick.

Still like the pickup. He’s our only defense first guard. That’s valuable.

Avery was a plus 30 last night, he played better defense on the perimeter than anyone else. Wayne better come in knocking down shots or Bradley might take his spot.

I have a feeling that both Monk and Wayne will be traded later in the season because of their lack of defense. That being said, I really like Monk’s game on offense and hope he can pick it up on D.

I'd ring up Minnesota to see if Vanderbilt was available.

I don’t know much about him. I’m guessing he’s a good defender since his offensive stats aren’t noteworthy?

He's long 6'9, athletic with explosive hops and great lateral quickness. The type of player we could use at 3/4/5 in Vogel's scheme and he's 22 years old. I'd give up a couple of guards on the outs in the rotation for a young big like that.

Yahoo Sports ran a little article this morning about who’s most likely to get traded if it were to happen. The only money options after Dec 15 are Nunn with taxpayer mid level and THT. Could see Nunn maybe if he hasn’t wowed us by then and with what he does or doesn’t show on defense. As an anchor to a trade.

AD has said several times how he was really surprised that we were able to get Nunn. I think he’d have to really stink for us to flip him or the trade target would have to be really good.

AD and LeBron both should have spoken up to FO about keeping both AC and THT. So there’s that too.

feel like i'm saying it multiple threads, but we thought to pay THT and nunn and basically nobody else. we should probably give the FO the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise. it's possible that an injection of that much talent will make a tangible difference.
