    @Purp n Gold
Handles and shot definitely coming out from college, and even after Alex has 3 years in. We determined that on page one or two …. catch up! :D ;) JK

What’s becoming evident as we go along here, rapidly, is better passser, the change of pace with the handles to get where he wants to go in better control as you say …. and finding out on top of all that the defense and the basketball IQ is right up there too in “similar” fashion, NOW, and he’s three years behind in actual NBA experience. Plus a little taller but without the hops and for whatever time it takes or is needed …. AC’s strength.

^ That's a good one. Re: the Reaves & Caruso discussion, I agree that they're different, and maybe he's not the new Eagle, but perhaps maybe...

    ...the Threeagle!

    3gle FTW!

again: primary bright spot, and not just because of his gleaming complexion, sirron.

If sirron is missing I feel maybe responsible. When he was going through his vocal negative period a couple weeks ago I kept telling him to watch the games first. Maybe he did …. ooops my bad. :giggle: :D

it would be a good reason to leave. i haven't seen the last couple games, and i'm thrilled about it.

we're still ok in my mind!

We are not as good as we wanted to be but we aren’t as bad as the forum is making us out to be either.

Abeer, we’re fine! We had two top 4 western teams to start with, a tough SAS and Grizz.

The OKC loss was bad but every team has inexplicable losses.

yes, that and other teams are doing the same thing as us right now. nobody came out on fire. again, my concern is that our defense has been junk for all but about 11 minutes of the season, and i'm not sure there's a clear path back to a top-5 defense, which to me was pretty important for us.

anyway, this is the reaves thread. he's good and ready to be a rotation player on a playoff team. that's wild.

Offensively, we are better at this point than I thought we would be. Defensively we are worse than I feared.

Yeah the defense is pathetic. I expected a drop off losing guards like KCP, AC Fresh and even Wes (who we maybe should have resigned). But the team looks in total disarray on D. Like they’ve never a seen a freaking pick and roll play in their lives. That’s unacceptable. I don’t even know who to blame. It’s basketball 101. WTH?

I mean we have some capable replacements in Bazemore who looks as good as KCP on D and has a little more size, and HBK who has hustle and is a smart defender with size as well. I guess it’s just that Russ and Rondo are total matadors and don’t give us anything on that end.

Will Nunn, Ariza, Ellington and THT help the situation? Judging from preseason Ellington won’t at all. But I do expect the other three to help quite a bit. Unfortunately Trevor and THT are out until January. Hopefully Nunn helps to stop the bleeding at PG defensively.

Reeves plays the game the right way making the unselfish extra pass, but I hope he doesn't pass up an open 3, to make the extra pass to Westbrook for his open look 3 like last game.

This kid is so impressive. He is a very high IQ player. He can pass and shoot the ball. He will only get better when he puts on so more size on as a defender.

Kid's got some great effort out there. Loved the forced jump balls.

His shot from everywhere is far superior to Alex’s and his handle is on another level as well.
