Agree in the public forum sure, but I HIGHLY doubt that was out of no where. Remember that we only know what we hear and see in the public view, there is stuff happening behind the scenes/in the locker room all the time.

I think Pelinka wanted to trade for Hield, but he was highly influenced by Lebron and AD to pursue Westbrook instead. Trading for Hield probably would have been the better trade. The spacing last night was atrocious. I was highly disappointed to see that big, slow, clogged up in the middle starting lineup that Vogel trotted out there last night. Lakers desperately need to address their spacing issues. I could see trades being made after December 15th.

They totally screwed up, they had him over the barrel, Ben had shot himself in the back, it was over for him but then they screwed up and poured gasoline on the fire in public.

My thoughts on the whole matter is that they are misusing him. Why not use him in the mold of Rodman? Defensive specialist. There have been guys who played that role very effectively in this league. They want something else out of him and he is failing at that. Everyone says he doesn't put in the work to learn how to shoot. ???? Maybe that is right or maybe that is wrong. I have no idea. They should trade him, this is making everyone there look like punks. EVERYONE!!!

I think when Ariza is back, AD slides to the five and we have a bit more spacing.

Yeah, have to agree. Makes me wonder why he is unable to stick anywhere? Does he bring "other" problems into the locker room or something? I know that his reaction to playing in the bubble sucked for us but we won anyhow, so there are no lingering hard feelings.

Besides making a couple of clutch 3's, he seemed to be playing pretty tight defense.

I don't know where Bradley fits beyond a stop-gap at the moment. He was ready when his number got called, so he gets credit for that. We still don't even know what the top 5 is, outside of the big 3 yet. It's going to take a minute to sort out.

I think in the first 20 games, we are lucky to go 11-9

In limited minutes I think he can be a good guy to have.

    No doubt about it.
I guess there were problems between Ben and Sixers also before that PO series.

Based on what we have seen and heard publicly, I didn't like the Sixers' behaviour.

Perhaps in a three-team deal. Westbrook is a decent fit in Philly though, throwing lobs to Embiid. Philly might want more value than just WB though.

Agreed! I have my doubts as regards Russell as I have had from the very beginning, but I also have immense trust in Bron, Volgel and the current management in general. Not to mention the "beta". All of whom seem to be on board with Russ on the team, so who am I to disagree?

Can't wait to see this team once they have figured out everything and are clicking, which will probably be somewhere mid February HAHA.

I’m not on Simmons or Morey’s side, but I’m especially not on Morey’s side. You’re only hurting your team dragging this out, trade him for what you can get and focus on trying to win your conference.

Simmons will only get less valuable as time go on. GM’s know that disgruntled players are not good for the team. Morey is either dumb, greedy or delusional or a combination.

I heard somewhere that Morey is hoping that Harden gets disgruntled over the Kyrie fiasco, and that if the Nets have a bad season, maybe Harden reunites with Morey after the season, and they'd use the Simmons contract to make the trade.

It's a longshot, but Harden was supposed to sign an extension with the Nets already, and instead he hasn't and is making FA noises, so it's possible I guess.

There's also a longshot of Lillard if he gets further disgruntled after this season and Portland finally lets him out.
