lol, i actually canceled mine a week ago partly for other reasons (i'm generally too busy with the kids to watch most games anymore), but also because i thought there was a 50/50 shot of this being 2012 all over again--complete with us running lebron into the ground in an effort to save face. anyway, i'm annoyed that we went from excess depth to none in a week, and that we continue to get killed on the three point line. there were lots of problems last night, but they made 17 threes to our 9 in a game that was decided by 4 points.
I jinx the Lakers every time I subscribe to League Pass.Thrice we missed the playoffs, after that it’s all illegal stream for me or free tv
I am expecting our team to hang around the .500 mark till Christmas. The talent is there but we have older players. The skills need time to mesh. Great players will ulltimately figure out how to hoop together hopefully they stay alright health wise till All star break and then turn on the playoff switch. I will be surprised if we win over 55 games
This will be one of those on line posts that will surface who knows how many years from now and then boom there goes your career, Your Honor.
trust me, tasting wine ain't a good reason to be there either, if you want to taste good wine, Santa Barbara is a way better destination.
This roster looks really dependent on Ariza being healthy and not too old. They're is absolutely no way the Lakers can survive with Melo and his defense in any meaningful playoff game. They don't have any of these other guys have the size and length outside of maybe THT who can play the 3/4 swing role outside of Lebron. With the Bradley signing and the fact the need is freaking obvious, it's almost as the team has a plan for a mid-season acquisition already in mind? otherwise they should really have taken a flyer on Ennis or a guy like Stanley Johnson
that's gotta be it. they feel confident some big wing defender will shake loose in buyout season. otherwise, we're left to believe they simply don't think it matters. btw, unlikely, but: covington's a FA after this year. say things go south in portland. do they cut him loose? trade him for a future pick and junk? how many covingtons are out there?
Which is what I don't get, unless they have inside Intel. Bigs are the first to get bought out and then PGs. Wings are last and I went digging through the rosters and there's no one who really jumps out as a potential candidate.
Steph had a bad shooting night and Warriors still beat us, even though Bron and AD had pretty good games. at this point I would not bet one cent on this team winning the West, much less the title. just can't see it. The fit is just horrible. Westbrook over Buddy Hield looking like an era-defining bad decision more and more.
westbrick was as bad if not worse than expected...after all these yrs of bad/horrible 3pt shooting you'd think he work every off season
How about just resigning Caruso and THT, bringing back Rondo, Howard while adding on Ariza, Monk, Bazemore. The title team with Bazemore added on would have looked awesome tonight
they need to figure out how to fit westbrick in with bron and AD ASAP 3 pt shooting was decent but FT shooting and D were awful losing caruso and KCP is going to come back to haunt them better figure it out quick or it's going to be 12-13 all over again
