He would have struck out anyways on the next pitch. Scherzer was running yoyos on those slaps.

Anyone know (aside from no one caring I’m sure :D ) if they’re railing up in SF against the base ump and chucking batteries at his house for that check swing call …. at that deciding point in the series?

Who cares. Giants fans are gutter trash. They got the call 2 months ago on an obvious swing by Ruf, and they all sat there like the scumbags they are and said deal with it.

Well, you can soak on that for the next 6 months, hypocrites. I like the players on the Giants. Despise everything about their fan base. I hope this burns forever.

I like the the clip I saw from the Giants manager "we didn't lose on that one call."

On that topic I was happy the call went our way but I would of liked to see us make that last out more convincing. All the talk is on the call and then what the Giants have done. That bad call diminished an amazing series by both teams, both managers called some great games and players put it all on the line in one of the most heated and hated rivalries in sports. I do believe Max would of gotten him out. I do believe we would of won the game BUT I was on pins and needles with Bryant on first and the Giants affinity for having lady luck on their side.

As a fan we were pissed at the call that went the Giants way. If we lost on that we would be lighting the torches and claiming the league has it in for us. If the San Fran fans are doing the same I don't blame them but like Ox said "Fk those guys" lol. We move on and to the ATL fans.... "We coming and we bringing the CHAMPS are here!"

Saw this amazing stat of Belli's:

5th time in his career he had the game winning RBI in a series clinching game. Most by any player in MLB postseason history!

:Magicwow4: .... is right after the season he's had. Great to see and has to be a confidence booster for him with his clutch bat coming alive in the post season.

Giants fans weren’t too bothered by this blown call. ‘s*** happens,’ they said, and they were right.

And what were we expecting Flores to do against Scherzer, down 0-2, and 0-18 against Sherzer?

But the call does piss me off. All the attention of this amazing series win has been deflected to this one blown call.

I wasn’t even sure above that it was a blown call, originally was just shocked that on something that close that would end the whole series, the base ump wouldn’t “swallow his whistle”. So it was blown everyone’s saying here. Did the ump take much heat in the national media? I didn’t even read the Times writeup next day.

Well looks like we got that payback cause turner gets called out on a check swing that doesn't look like he went
