Another championship loss to that city sigh. Congrats to them, they deserved that win.

Shame the offense folded the way it did. There were chances to win despite them playing so bad. Big shout out to the defense, they did a great job for nearly all of the game.

Hope Goff and McVay learn from this and become stronger. It was a great season and we'll be back next year.

    Super Bowl 53 thoughts:
    - a tie at one point, that holding call when the Rams were building momentum was a killer.
    - Rams miss Kupp who usually makes those crucial catches.
    - defense did all it could until Gronk made that catch.
    - what on earth is going on with Gurley?
    - best commercial was NFL100.
    - wasn't Romo's best but it was better than most.
    - heart picked the locals, brain the other...hate it when I am right.
    - so sick of losing to that city.

Clay Matthews... A good pick-up. Can still get to the passer.

Horns up.. stood up til 4am to be put to sleep by the super bowl. Ugh. God I hate the Patriots. It would have been worth it and I would be a little less sour... had we lost to anyone else but them.

    C'mon! Rams.. let's get it!

LOL the zebras hose New Orleans again in the first half by calling back a touchdown they got when Goff was stripped during his throwing motion deep in Saints territory. Even looked at replays under the review request and called it an incomplete pass.

Wouldn't have made any difference as L.A. blew them out in 2nd half .... but Wow. Saints player after game was throwing "Sports Locker" smack at the officials in return.

    Rams vs. Eagles
    - Nice to see Cooper Kupp back in action, that punt reception before halftime though... Yuck...
    - Defense is business as usual, especially in the 2nd half...
    - Offense kicked it up a notch compared to last week...
    - And oh Tyler Higbee is a stud apparently.

Goff situation is looking like a loser for Goff.

Best place I could find to put this. GTFOH dept "old school" comment. Just heard on car radio reported that Jerry Rice with his 3 Super Bowl rings congratulated Tom Brady for his seventh. And then proceeded to say that he played in an era where "there was real contact". Oh really Jerry.

Now I guess he could have been talking about quarterbacks being more protected now. Or allegedly not supposed to hit on purpose with helmets. Anyway just struck me wrong when you watch the violence on the field with even bigger and faster athletes these days. YMMV.

3-0 and just smacked Tampa Bay good in spite of 44 year old Brady throwing for over 400 yards but only 1 TD. Stafford threw for over 300 and 4 of them.

On the same day the Niners and Seahawks lose. Great day. And yes, Stafford is real--such a difference between him and Goff.

Next week, another undefeated team in the Cards, who the Rams have owned lately. But this isn't the Cards of the last few seasons. Let's keep up the dominance.

    Wow indeed.

Has anyone here been in So Fi Stadium yet for a game? If so, what's your impression of it?

I haven't, but people in Reddit love it. I think some people had problems knowing where they were and where their seats were, but that's about it. BTW, Tom Brady said in a postgame interview that Sofi was one of the loudest stadiums he's played in.
    :Dwight Shaka:
The only complaints I read was the traffic to and from, which sounds like a nightmare even for LA, lol.

Yeah don’t know if they are still there or not but both Sony and JVC had large service centers down in that exact vicinity and I used to visit both with pro video equipment dropping off and picking up way more times than was fun with the conjested hike down the freeways from Burbank & back and it was always a PITA.
