Vogel sounds almost giddy. He’s usually pretty chipper but he sounds more excited than usual this media day. I like it

He has real reason to be. This team, on paper, is better than the championship team. My mantra: Just stay healthy!

Considering the shape our two oldest "superstars" have kept themselves in physically and how impactfully they play ..... I mean .... we finally did it!!! 3 bona fide superstars that will be a nightmare for any team. The fact that Russ isn't a good shooter from distance pales, laughably, with what he adds to this team in place of the jack** we had last year, who says, "he didn't give us everything he had". In a contract year. If someone had told us 4 years ago we would be running out LeBron James, Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook in our starting lineup .... surrounded by the talent assembled on this team, also in good shape physically or they'd not be in the league ..... we'd have mocked them and said put down that

and we're calling the ASPCA on you!!

I’m not sure Rondo is a HOF’er, but still, it’s one thing to see pics, or read the roster on paper, but seeing them actually together it looks silly, like an all-star game. Yes, they aren’t in their primes, so it’s not really like that, but the feeling is still to me like, wow.

It does. Put Steph on it to stretch the floor and yeah, it's an excellent team with no visible holes aside from age.

What's going to be fun too is watching, the times if it ever happens (you know Frank loves to try everything) ..... when Carmelo is on the floor with LeBron and AD and Russ and Dwight. The other team's lineup better be damned good to keep us from going HAM at times on them physically with size and strength.

Just for bleeps and giggles. ^^^^ I know we have to be quicker on the perimeter. Take Dwight out above and add whomever to balance it out. Just the main thought of seeing Melo after 19 years finally playing with LeBron and this kind of roster. Sheeeooot!! For Hillbilly Kobe and @CarolinaLakerFan.

Has to be. No matter what direction he looks in, he's going to see a Hall of Famer. He might lose sleep trying to figure out the rotations and how to give 12 players 20+ minutes a night, but as he kind of said... it's a good problem to have. There's just so many different options and looks we can throw out there. I'm excited that it's full 82 and not a truncated season so we can see him work through some of these interesting lineups.

He has every reason to be. He got to pick his destination thanks to an owner who did him a favor. Gets to play next to two of the best in the game. With slew of other vets he's enjoyed battling throughout his career. Back in Cali. Playing for Kobe's team. And has another crack at getting a title, something he was probably thinking he might not get another shot at...I mean, he was playing for the Wizards. It has to be surreal, soaking all that up at once.
