Good forums need good members, but more importantly good admins. LB has both in spades. I really like this place. The banter is generally maintained at a decent level, and it never seems to get ugly here (especially now that Game Time has been cleaned up). Really appreciate our admins here. My question: has anyone ever done anything to get permanently banned? And why? Language? Personal attacks or threats? Other craziness? Just curious.
Yes a few. Thankfully, not too many. Generally because of disregard for site rules. We have a warning system in place and when a member continues to ignore the rules after being asked off the record, then politely on the record, then firmly on the record, then it's Adios. It's usually things like trolling, baiting, getting on one issue and just running it into the ground until the whole site is going crazy. We banned one guy not too long ago because he took over the Clippers thread. All of his posts were in that one thread and he basically ruined it.
