Hey …. Damn …. Congratulations!! Wanted to ask about that too but figgered too many personal questions. :Carusoshaka:
It’s not ceremonial official yet due to hella long paperwork issues, but it’s official. A simple 3 month process in the UK has been stretched out nearly two years. It’s absurd. but thanks! I’m very happy.
I hope Vogel and Fizdale are a good match and Penberthy, who maybe cost us Dudley being around to help keep the “OGs” (pick your joke) and young guns all positive and on the same page, is worth it.
I mean I gotta say, this is pretty funny. Sometimes you have to be able to laugh at yourself. Don't take life too serious, you're never gonna get out alive
It was, and you’re right. But block head wasn’t too bad. Charlie Brown is a blockhead and who on earth can hate him? Even though he was a giants fan
Ugh!! Hang in there big guy. Cedric Ceballos 10 days and counting in ICU with Covid. https://www.yahoo.com/sports/ex-nba-player-cedric-ceballos-173915257.html
Time, Melo’s with you 100% lol. I’m reading his New Yorker interview that KSM posted, and laughed when I saw this. Link: https://www.newyorker.com/culture/t...-anthony-still-feels-like-hes-proving-himself. Outstanding interview, btw. Interviewer: George Karl is still talking about you and how you play years later. I mean, did you see his most recent tweet about you? Carmelo: That man is miserable, man. I don’t get into it. I don’t read his comments. I think he’s irrelevant at this point in time. And I think some people in life just hate to see how people grow. I know what was going on with the Denver Nuggets and me and George Karl. And people who was there know. You’ve never heard nobody vouch for anything that man is saying. It’s funny to me. I haven’t played for that man since 2010. I played for him when I was twenty-five years old. I’m thirty-seven years old. What are you talking about? A lot of those moments I forgot about. So that’s how I look at stuff. Some people are just miserable. Some people want attention. Whatever it is, good luck to him.
Kind of the same as he feels about his time with Phil in NY and don’t blame him there either from what he said in his sit down with Matt Barnes and the other guy.
karl's really had weird axes to grind throughout his life/career. he hated kobe, too, and really took every opportunity to trash him for a while.
Yeah. Of course he’ll always be bitter about anything Lakers-related, but on top of that, he’s just thin skinned and carries stupid grudges way too long. It’s a sad person who still dwells in the past. Hope he could let it go at some point.
Absolutely. Starting with his own team beginning with in his rookie year. See: Showboat nickname. But they all got over it as he got older and matured, but still embodied Mamba Mentality. I never heard Karl talking s*** about him lately, or even in the period before Jan 2020though, but I don’t follow him.
