I’d take him for sure to be a 3rd string center/insurance for us. He’s just not a starter anymore.

Meh...show me any stats backing up Wes Mathews performance, as anything but disappointing. His jumper disappeared, his defense wasn't stellar. It's the NBA, most players fall off in their mid 30's, that's to be expected. It's the rare guys that are still solid late in their careers. Every minute Matthews could play should be given to Tucker IMO. There are a lot of guys that can play in a 13-15 roster spot role. Jordan tho..is still big and he can still jump, I'd prefer him over Wes.

Do not want Jordan, we already have Dwight. Would rather Marc played any minutes Jordan might get. Hell I’d rather go after Cousins than Jordan, at least he can shoot.

I want a big wing too but though Matthews struggled with his shot he also had some games where he showed he could still light it up. IMO the fall off shooting probably directly correlated to first time in his career mostly having to come in cold off the bench rather than start, and random, irregular playing minutes. Still a strong aggressive player on defense, and faster on his feet than Danny Green.

Still not sure he wants to play? Why is he wasting everyone's time? Why go through the workouts?

How can you put any trust into a guy, that is having such a hard time making up his mind, that even wants to play? He wasn't all THAT good when he did play.

Not that I need to mention it but it baffles me how Russ isn't mentioned since he was arguably the biggest known traded commodity

    Just wow

We need bigs. Im sure Deandre can play 10-12 minutes and protect the rim.

I agree with this and am so surprised people are against DeAndre coming if he gets bought out. We actually have very little reliable depth at Center. If either one of AD/Dwight/Gasol misses time, your gonna wish you had depth to help with this.

Mid season we would have complaints that Gasol is are only starting center and Lebron needs to play backup C.

if NETS dont want him, a team that already lack sz, doesnt speak for DJ current abilities to play anything meaningful?

If I were a team, and I knew the guy wasnt sure if he wanted to play, I would have zero interest. If he's unsure now, what are the odds he sticks around on the 4th game in 5 nights in Milwaukee on a freezing night in February?

I would think he draws very little interest. If his mind isn’t right, being at the top level of anything in this world is unlikely. Especially not really being All Star level and away for a couple of years.

If one is not a mod, they should not be backseat moderating (= trying to enforce forum rules). Simple as that. Are we clear on this?

So let’s just not show any interest in the guy. Collison sounds like walking trouble.
