He makes $10.5m... that just can't happen this year. He's on an expiring deal. Maybe we're doing the early scouting work about signing him next summer?

ennis signed for 3.3 there, so with the raise they could offer him with non-bird rights, he could make almost twice as much for orlando, right? gotta think that's the angle.

Nah. This is just JMichael looking for some retweets from the biggest fanbase in the league. He even named the Hornets so if anyone accuses him of grifting Laker fans, he can say, "But I listed the Hornets as well!" My guess is neither team has uttered the words Jeremy and Lamb together in the same sentence.

i wonder if a lot of this stuff is actually gms/agents/press working together to bring about outcomes/frame narratives.

totally possible that lamb's agent calls rob and says "would you be interested in jeremy"? and rob's like, "we can't trade for him, but we do have open roster spots and would certainly take a look if he became available in our price point". agent: "so can i say you're interested, off the record?"

press guy gets clicks, lamb's agent tries to manufacture leverage for a trade with the buyout threat (how mad is pritchard when he's paying a guy 10 million to play for us?), and rob is maybe owed a favor for doing something that probably has zero impact and is totally irrelevant.

    but nobody's lying, technically.

Why is everyone so focused on just the post. The league has gone away from the traditional game almost altogether. These 4's & 5's are more capable now then ever before of taking guys off the dribble, shooting from deep along with the occasional post-up. It's all encompassing not just post play. Melo can't guard mobile 4's and 5's and that's what the league has gone too. I've mentioned postionless basketball numerous times..

That last highlight of him beating the C's in Boston with that prayer...his handle was unbelievable and the way he was able to change pace and direction instantly. His body control was silky smooth too. He made the Lakers fun to watch when we weren't winning titles

Not only that but it would put us 30 million into the luxury tax when we could have kept AC at basically the same money. This is a ploy by his agent and maybe the Pacers to drive up his trade stock methinks
