Going back to the original comment though about Schröder and Dirk, I looked into it and it seems they have played some international ball together, and Dirk had been very vocally supportive of Schröder early in his career. Even saw something about Dirk supporting a clothing line from Schröder and rocking his outfits.

I think big guys who are disinterested tend to play way beneath their capabilities when they are stuck on bad teams. Look how bad Griffin was?? Everyone was saying he could NOT even dunk a ball anymore.
