Lakers are trying to get involved in the massive Dinwiddie S&T effort. They're hoping to add Buddy Hield to the roster, trading away the rights to Dennis Schroeder.

Anyone know who this schlep is?

Bagley would be a surprise move, the team everyone expected but not the player. I still hope it's Myles Turner.

signing hasn't technically happened, but in any case, he's hard to move due to byc. in a deal with this much salary, though...

feel like bagley isn't something to fuss about. the kings would love to move him, i think.

Yeah, as much as I would love Hield, and think if you have that option you have to take it and figure out how to make it work, it doesn’t feel like there’s room for him.

Of course, he would probably be at the top of the rotation, but that would likely squeeze out a lot of playing time for Ellington, Monk, Nunn, Bazemore, etc.

 

Surprised Riley got Dipo to sign. All the reports coming out this week said he was going to wait till he's healthy and evaluate his options. Good no risk, high reward for them. They aren't relying on him and and don't need him with their guard depth. If he gives them anything, that's a win for them.

Regarding DG for the min, that's not happening. He scoffed at 6ers offer. Sounds like he's wanting $10m+ a year based on what the other shooters got. Maybe full MLE from a non tax payer if the years are right?

Curious as to what Cube Jr. knows.
