Nah. On what, 4 FTA a game? So basically another point?

Indeed. Let's look at a random game we lost last year, just a sec... (Google is our friend)...

OK, I randomly clicked at this loss against the Blazers.

Lost by 5. Missed 6 FTs, although our % was actually respectable there (The Blazers hit 95% though). But that's a completely random example. I'm sure I could find many better ones where we missed more. I know we lost against the Kings (!) by 4 and missed at least 6 FTs. This Laker team should get to the line more often too.

Yes, FT hurt us throughout the season, painful to watch. But those guys have few attempts. It's largely due to LeBron. AD also decreased his % I guess.

But it's always a great asset to have guys comfortable at the chair

30 and 20 percentage point differences. Those are huge.

Nunn is gonna be a very good signing. I wasn't aware he was available until a little before we got him.

Cause he wasn't available in any practical sense. Miami extended a qualifying offer and it was thought they would match anything reasonable. Then Riles went Riles and rescinded the offer after all the money dried up.

I'm not gonna lie, his Sun Tzu tactic before signing with the Clippers was pretty good business move.

Now, I don't consider that being a snake. A snake is what Carlos Boozer did to the Cavs back in the early 2000s.

That kind of s*** gets around! My thinking is, if I am another top player in the league and Kawhi is needing a new running mate, I would walk the other way.

Too many variables to just label it black and white. Money, team and it's direction, coach, role on that team etc etc..If I had the chance to win a chip and have a prominent role I'd definitely have to give it thoughtful consideration. It's hard to win a chip in this league ask LeBron lol

Has Kawhi signed a new deal yet? I mean, no one has any money to sign him at this point. It'd be hilarious if Balmer was like, "Nah. You're too injury prone. We aren't going to resign you." and Kawhi is left taking rehabbing on his own dime.

I know. I'm just fantasizing about him going to sign the extension after opting out and the Clippers being smart and deciding against signing a player with knees being held together by chewing gum. It'd be pretty funny.

This is big, we actually cost ourselves some games last season with free throws.
