powell makes sense to me. can play 4 or 5 defensively, good team guy. dallas has kelber, wcs, porzingis, moses brown, and boban all able to play the 5 for them, but they have only brunson and trey burke as their secondary ballhandlers. schroder is an upgrade on both.

i don't want any more small guys, though. even hart, who plays bigger. we need backup bigs and a big wing defender (the latter is a years-long issue now, and trevor ariza ain't it).

    Nice exercise.
Pels got Graham, Satoransky and Temple. They are all worst than Schroder but it would be odd to sign another one. They have Alexander-Walker for the other guard position and Josh Hart. Yeah maybe they want another guard, I can go with that, specially because they must please Zion and Schroder could help them continuing to be mediocre but close to playoffs. They had a terrible off-season, jesus.
Would they throw us Hayes? Hart was great 2 days ago, now we are already packed in the wings.

NY are riding with Rose long-term. They are not compatible together and they have Burks (who they just paid 30mil) and Quickley as backup, don't see that happening. They have Barrett as 2 also, so really no fit at all.

Orlando are unleashing Cole Anthony. And they have Fultz who was great last year and MCW. They are also tanking so really no point at bringing Schroder or Schroder wanting to there, albeit the lack of options he probably has now

Dallas is really my best bet. I think it would be a win-win. They need to do something, they didn't got any better and if I were Luka I would be thinking...
Maybe Pels can get in too, but there's really no one else lol there's a lot of guards, Schroder is a bum to play his cards like he did

Oh damm! He would have been nice on the Lakers for the minimum LOL.

There goes NY as a option for Schroder.

The best analogy I have for Schroder was when he was offered the $84 mil during mid season and passed, he essentially asked for another card at the blackjack table when he already had 20.

John Collins just re-signed for 5 years $125mil. I believe last year he was offered 4 years $80mil and he turned it down. Bet on himself and won. I bet pleasing Trae Young may have had something to do with this.

Hope the Lakers can get a TPE/2nd for Schroder even if its for $5.9mil somewhere it can be handy and its good asset management, we cannot let him walk for nothing

Well, didn't aged well this one ahah

Don't see the point for the Knicks. Of course you can't rely on Rose too much, but Quickley was really interesting and Burks just signed a big contract. Maybe they want to push Barrett to the 3.

Schroder needs to be in suicide-watch these days, I'm almost feeling sorry for him

This probably isn’t the right thread for this but it does affect the salary cap for half of the leagues teams. I knew there was a lot of dead money on different teams books. They need to bring back the Amnesty clause in the next CBA.

    https://www.basketballnews.com/stor...what-nba-teams-are-in-the-dead-money-doldrums

When the league calendar flips in August, half of the NBA will be completely free of dead money, according to salary figures provided by Spotrac and Basketball Reference. The Memphis Grizzlies, for example, had over $29 million tied to Gorgui Dieng and Dion Waiters through this past season.

Dennis can go back to OKC now and we can get our 1st rd pick back plus a 15 million TPE. OKC gets a cheaper option at PG and he is a player they are already familiar with. With all the picks they have, giving us one back isn't some heavy lift.

At this point Schroder might end up in China for a season.
