True that, a win is a win. Hopefully the offense clicks (which I think it will) and we can run teams out of the building. Not to mention it’s a little more fun to watch.

Melo helps our bench that couldn't score last year tremendously. As a PF we can hide him on defence a bit and he honestly isn't bad defending in the post. But he can still put up points and if Lebron has some time off, Melo can take up some of the scoring load.

    I like it!

Melo will duplicate Kuzma in every sense. Gunning off the bench with little else to offer. But there is a chance that Melo actually plays slightly better off the bench for us than Kuz did. Last year he shot 40% on threes. If he can duplicate that, I take him over Kuzma any day of the week. Moreso comparing their "price tags".

not really. kuz still had some improvement to do defensively, but he grades out as a much better defender. he also moved better off the ball and rebounded better. these things matter, and they're why melo's on his third straight minimum.

now, if you thought kuz's role was to simply come in for 15mpg and make a couple shots, then yes, melo can do THAT as well or better.

i think it's good that he and lebron are pals, too. might help keep him engaged on little things, which has been a career-long problem.

Melo comes hungry. I'm sure he will fit in to his role. He doesn't want the spotlight. He knows he's old and he was almost out of the league. This is actually the best shot he has in his career to get a ring. And playing with a friend, he will be great and a positive influence in the locker room

i agree. i didn't want him two years ago (and we won a title without him then), but i would have taken him last year and am glad to get him this year for this particular role (15mpg bench shooter).

Training with Lebron he may step back in time a bit. With advanced training techniques and what we know about nutrition there is no need for a mid thirties person to fall off so badly. I also think Melo's pride will force his best. He isnt going to want to have Lebron see him as a handicap. If there is anything left in the tank we will get it.

If he can duplicate what he did last year with the jailblazers (sorry I just love that reference from yesteryear) we'll be just fine with that sort of production. He actually won them a couple of games down teh stretch in the 4th quarter for them. I'm not holding my breath but I'll be happy if he can give us some consistency

I'll say that both Melo and Wade were way more handsome without all that facial hair. I dislike this new fad, it's just lazy.

The new style is dress like you threw s*** together at the last minute and grow facial hair even though it looks patched on like Gary from Team America.

The next start needs to set the trend. Whomever that next star is....

Is he now the most recent? Doesn't everyone with a 1st grade vocabulary or higher have a podcast at this point?
