    Someone always gets hurt or wants out of their current situation every season. That wouldn't be the worst doomsday scenario. It's possible that we might end up seeing Dennis, as the best available player left on the board. I believe that we are working on something, we'll know more by the end of the day.

    Yeah, I think there is zero chance we have the assets to get one of those guys, but you never know how things shake out. Maybe some other lower tier star becomes disgruntled and asks out. Having at least one tradeable contract at least allows us to get our foot in the door. Maybe Schröder as an expiring contract allows us to take on a salary dump from another team.

    Disappointed we missed out on Gay, but at least he didn’t go out and say “it’s all about winning at this stage” and then take the money. He just went out and took the money.

    Curious what SA does. Are they going to work a S&T with DD? They're sitting on $30m. Or do they throw a sheet at John Collins? Shams said last night that he and the Hawks aren't close on their numbers.

    spurs have to spend on someone.

    i'm curious as to what's happening with siakam in toronto. they used the #4 pick on a sf and just paid anunoby a pretty decent amount.

    Eh, they’re not really contenders. The Nets, Lakers, and Bucks are the only real contenders this season. Injuries happen, yes, which is why the Suns made the Finals this year, but the Jazz couldn’t even make it in those circumstances. It’s nice that these places believe they’re contenders, but they aren’t, they don’t have enough players that have “it”, whatever it is.

    LOL you'll just keep beating that Drum(mond) won't you. I got totally turned off when I saw how much he had lost athletically due to what, thinking he played better too heavy, from 7-8 years ago. All the mental lapses and butter fingers. Caruso's not all that, while you doggedly IGNORE he was hurt in the playoffs, but Drummond is the bomb. SMH.
