I hope our 2 way players know how to drive handicap scooters. Seems like most of our team will needs them or walkers.

    lol good lord

if they bring in one of melo or gay, i think they'll for sure break the record held by the 01 jazz and 98 rockets for oldest team (32 years of age)

It was ok. Do they have anything else pretty impactful in the works?

I guess I'll be that guy: why didn't they pay Caruso? Do you have any insight?

People are pissed, and I can't blame them.

As others here have noted, the way ownership and management failed to act, they're acting like a small market franchise.

For me? It looks like they went the cheap route. I know it isn't my money; but if you're to go all in, strip away all the youth, and go for it, that means spend the money, too.

Is there any more insight you can add to this, please?

Outside of that, I thought the Lakers did an excellent job of adding value with all the minimum contracts they added.

    Thank you. :)

Was tied up with other business most of the day so I don't actually know what happened. I do know that as of the day prior, the Lakers wanted to resign Caruso to a nice deal.

Movement of non-stars and role players doesn't really show up on my radar due to a lack of external resources behind such transactions, but I'll do my best to figure out the rationale here. The LakersBall community and fanbase definitely deserve an answer!!

^ this must mean, Rob has something up his sleeve. I bet Shroder being a d*** makes Rob's job harder though.

sacramento with the rare good contract. holmes was probably their second-best player.

    not a former laker. sorry.

they're going to keep him for less than we let AC walk for, and i'm going to throw up.

I still don't know the reason we let AC go. He was a great backup PG and a really valuable defensive piece - and it's not like we had to let him go. I like to think it's because he wanted a bigger role and we let him go - but even then he'll be a backup for Lonzo at the bulls. So I'm not sure I can rightfully buy that train of thought.

So the only real hope is we sign someone like Patty Mills or Reggie Jackson.

At least the Lakers are getting more length on the perimeter, they can be more versatile on switches on defense, pick and roll defense has to improve.

He won’t stop … grinder. Why Magic drove him nuts to start chirping behind the scenes, probably. Couldn’t get timely answers out of him too often while Magic was doing his other businesses.

mills is a less effective player because he can't defend, and reggie won't come for what we've got to offer.

rob better have a real rabbit to pull out of the schroder hat to justify the AC fiasco.
