    The Robinson contract shows just how important shooting is. It is obvious to me, but a lot of folks still have their head in the sand about that. What is it about folks having their head in the sand about stuff these days?

    To be fair, Boban is the only cheap contract to be announced so far.

    Also, none of the teams that were discussed in any variation of our trade has announced a signing yet. Maybe everyone is waiting on Dinwiddie.

    How about rewording that to folks that have different opinions from other folks and can back it up with the shooting numbers of last 2 or 3 champions in the playoffs?

    It shows how some teams value shooting, but it does not indicate how important shooting is. There is a difference. Personally, $18M per year for 5 years on a one trick pony that is a liability of defense is not a contract I’d dish out.

    pretty much every team that has spent this kind of money on a shooter has regretted it. every one.

    this isn't klay thompson. this is ryan anderson, davis bertans, etc.

    from whom? who even has it to offer at this point? ny had 50, but has already spent 20+ on their own guys and haven't secured rose. dallas signed hardaway and re-upped wcs. chicago contracted with ball.
