i'm not sure i doubt we'll win; it's just not the path i would have pursued. but again, i'm a psych prof, not an nba gm.

Hield would have made a helluvalot more sense especially if we didn't have to give up KCP.

If the Lakers went the Hield route, would that have been enough to beat a healthy Nets team? Who knows what options were available for a Schroder deal.

eh, i'm not sure. i wasn't gaga for hield, either, especially because he would have cost 2/3 the westbrook package.

i think this makes better use of assets, for sure.

Then what would you do about the PG position though? We can’t afford to run Lebron into the ground in his final years with his mileage. We can find shooters on the cheap. Paying Buddy Hield $20 million per year didn’t make sense. He’s not that great.

Just like the Nets when they were healthy, Lakers will have either Lebron, AD or Westbrook on the court at all time, that is pretty huge there.

well rob better address the depth and shooting issues ASAP

relying 100% on injury prone AD/westbrook and lebron in his 19th season at age 37 isn't a good idea

add veteran PG + Caruso + THT ball handling

come playoff time I don't see Westbrook handling the ball much either, so a lineup with Lebron+AD+Hield+KCP+someone else would look better in theory.
