    The salaries don’t match though. Kuz+KCP+Harrell is about $36M, Russ is about $44M.

    It’s close enough for the trade to go through, but we’d still be adding about an extra $8M to our books.

    Need is done. The attainable 3rd star. Now Pelinka uses his last big asset to get the 4th guy. And if not, he gets a sold pick up for the MLE.

    so guys... if the aug 6th official thing is in fact true, does that mean the whole washington fan base and opposing GMs calling washington front office and complaining etc for a full week can basically botch the trade?

    like is this a “verbal”? and obviously it ain’t guaranteed?

    hoping someone can school me about this aug 6th thing and if in fact there is some sort of agreement in principle to do this. (WB deal)

    It's gonna work, trust me. Westbrook as the 3rd star is perfect.

    As long as AD is healthy the whole year, Lakers will have a solid shot at 18.

    I absolutely love it if we can get a few shooters on the team for cheap and if we can keep our pick. I’m a pretty big Westbrook fan if I can be a fan of a player for another team :p

    Mug is way more than half full here. Of all the potential players to go beyond Kuz I’m loving that it was KCP and Trezz as opposed to losing AC or THT in the process. What a great competitive Kobe like mentor Russ will be for THT and AC to play and practice with and physically measure themselves.
