I guess at the very least it gives us an interesting big 3 to go against the Nets big 3, I dunno. Regarding Melo, I was wrong that he was done 2 seasons ago, but man, I fear with our luck if we sign him it will be 2 seasons 2 late and he will actually be done, immediately turn into that pumpkin.

Hearing leadership in the analytics department is upset. They wanted to further explore trades for shooters and playmakers, rather than going all in on a high-salaried star player. Heard one individual remarked (not to any FO officials) "Someone tell Rob we aren't in 2016!"

On the contrary, I say no to Drummond. Bring back Dwight instead. Dwight and Marc is a solid center rotation, and we’d need Marc’s floor spacing

At Lebron’s age, I prefer to swing for the fences and Hield didn’t move the needle that much IMO. There’s definitely a case against Westbrook on this team, but I prefer that gamble than what I viewed as a slight upgrade over KCP in Hield.

I’m not worried about depth on a LeBron/AD/WB team. It’s a genuine concern, but I can’t think of a roster that had three “super team” caliber all-stars but ultimately stunk because they couldn’t fill out the roster.

We need shooting more than anything. We have size and athleticism. From here on out, shooting should be the first, second, and third priorities.

Well you've basically made it much harder Lebron to post up anybody now even if he's at the 4 as any decently coached team is going to sag the hell off Westbrook. The Dirk fadeaway Lebron has perfected may go the way of the dinosaur now

Sorry everyone, can't stick around much longer! This was an entertaining "race to the finish though"!

Congrats to all at Lakersball for sticking this tough year out! We now have our third star, and most electric point guard since possibly Magic himself! I foresee great things ahead!!!

This. We're starting to see a more mortal Lebron with all the injuries he's been piling up since he signed with us.

With LB/AD/WB, Lakers need to make sure they have pure shooters at the 2 and 5 now.
