Now see, that is all I said, if you are hard capped , which is due to one of those three things. You can not go over that cap in order to sign your own free agents. I never said anything about being hard capped due to signing your own Bird rights free agents. This below is what I posted....

" No. Let me be clearer, we can sign our own free agents to any amount over the cap. That isn't a hard cap scenario. Except in one circumstance. if we were to receive a player that was S&T by his team. We could not go over the hard capped amount of 138 million or so. That would include Bird rights for our own free agents. It clearly states that once you are hard capped by one of the three actions. You can not go over the hard cap apron under any circumstances. Not except with the exception of the Bird rights. It's a moot point because we are looking to send a player out by that, not recieve one."

So painful to read stuff like this knowing that we have no assets.

Lakers are the last place that Portland will send Lillard. I am quietly hopeful. We'll see. Something to follow over the summer.

OKC and HOU has a ton of picks

    Interesting....

I offer everyone for Lillard. Everyone. THT, AC, Kuz, KCP, picks til 2045. We have Lillard, LeBron, and AD, it’s over. I realize the money probably doesn’t work, and I don’t even know if THT is under contract to be traded, but I’m just saying.

Yeah, I am very hesitant to trade THT. He's been in every proposed scenario that I've seen to improve the team, and I'm saying no. But I have two exceptions: Steph and Dame. In either of those cases I would drive THT to the airport myself.

Nah, Vogel would not play him, since he does not play defense.

I would think the places he would want to go, Warriors or Lakers, are the places with the least chance of Portland trading with.

well, he said Utah or LA. With our luck, he would end out on the Clippers after Silver steps in and does not allow a Lakers trade.

I’d be stunned if he would ever play with Paul George and Pat Beverly.

Not sure Portland could beat us in a trade offer either.
