    The Good Side:

Booker had a sub-par game but his teammates stepped up particularly Payne. Ayton has to be accounted for. Saric chips in too. Their 5 spot is not a liability on offense.

Excellent play drawn up by Monte Williams. Booker fielded enough of a backscreen to free up his center.

    The Evil Side:

Their FG% though not lights out is still efficient enough to keep within shouting distance. Kennard contributed in the fourth.

Beverly really rode Booker...enough pestering to keep him uncomfortable even drawing a crucial offensive foul. Booker with enough space can still rise and shoot over him.

Cam Payne appears to be earning all the money Dennis thought he was going to get this summer.

Lol what an amazing choke job for a guy...

but Clippers have been down 2-0 in each series and came out victorious....so lets keep our fingers crossed.

Trying to temper my enthusiasm with the Clips being down 2-0. Hoping the Suns have a more killer instinct than Dallas and Utah.

right? guess he heard me say he sucked. i'd still be very concerned about committing money to him, though.

but both he and reggie jackson are guys that if you were looking at schroder, he might have fallen down your list a bit. schroder might have to come back with us on a one-year extension or something to try to salvage value.

yeah, hard to get too excited. i will say that the dallas 2-0 lead was flukey, and cp returning for the suns will help, though. i expect it to be a long series.

Series will go the distance...so far nothing definitive on Paul and Leonard.

paul will be back by game 4, i'm sure. i'll be surprised if leonard plays. even if it's just a sprain, there's risk with playing on it, right? seems like something he and the clippers might be concerned about--i mentioned this after it happened--his contract situation complicates things.

anyway, if paul getting back gets phx up 3-1, barring injuries, they can take it in 6. but 7 is more likely.

CP3 isn't injuried. He just got a weeks rest and no set back. Kawhi, I think, is badly injured. But, we will see.

I definitely agree. I don’t know how sustainable these performances are for either of them but I definitely think teams are going to give it a try with both of them.

My predictions have been awful this year so I won’t even bother with this series.

I do feel like we can take a lot from whether Kawhi plays game 3 or not. They need to win that one and avoid going down 3-0. If he doesn’t play You have to think the injury is serious.

I think if CP3 comes back next game this will be another sweep for the Suns.

jackson had a rough couple years, but played well this year and has really shown up for them in the playoffs. they can only offer 4 year MLE, i think, so if someone who needs a scoring guard (dallas, for example) might just offer him 3/50 and see if it's enough to lure him. that's better than 4/80 for schroder, for sure.

payne's in the same situation, and he's younger--but his injury history scares me a bit. also, this has been by far his best nba season, with his 3pt% jumping from an average in the low 30s to 44 (51 in his brief stint last year). questionable.

so, jackson's older, but i trust him to be able to replicate what he did last year more than i trust payne. that said, teams should definitely throw full MLEs at payne for their backup pg needs. phx will definitely match that price, probably give him a kcp/kuz special 3/40, and i bet he stays there.

Suns are way better than Utah cause of its wings defense and Ayton offense ...

This series will be over in 5 imo

I just wish AD would be more of a 5. He would be more of a killer, but he would need to get stronger and want to be a 5. Just don't see it. Ayton is the prototypical 5 for the NBA today. Ayton is the key to this seris. A center with some offense and one who can get out to guard at the top.

    Dear LAKERSNATION

As much as I hate both teams equally... I need your help to clear some issues ... I find myself kinda wanting clippers to ATLEAST win a game ... Suns are too cocky and already calling it a sweep ... I don’t really like the SUNS specially since they beat us ... but I can’t stand them talking sweep ... kinda have a soft spot for the clips to atleast make it a series

I also hate all the BS HYPE about how Booker is the next Kobe

anyways !!! Go bucks ! I hope lol

Come on now, I hope they get swept, followed by the Suns getting swept by the Bucks.

That would be a win for everyone, but rooting for the clippers, no chance.
