AD is going to have to play and we're going to be relying on CP3 reverting back to doing nothing if that shoulder is any worse after the box out.
I don't think it matters much . Payne is killing us and AD won't be good if he plays . It might cheer our team a little bit though.

What a pathetic series this has become. It's down to who stays healthy, and we're losing the battle with AD and KCP out. If they're back to 80%, we win. If not, I'll see you guys in October.
AD won't be back to 80% for at least a couple weeks, and that's if the groin injury is minor. they needed to win this series without him, and apparently, they cannot.
Even if AD comes back, I don’t know how effective he’ll be. He’ll be relegated to being a jump shooter, which plays into Phoenix’s hands.
Well, I thought did get my hopes a little up after AD and his back to back performances in games 2 & 3. Then, he got hurt. But for the most part, I was even keeled; this just isn't our year.
Nobody aggressively takes the ball inside. Relentlessly take it to Ayton, he'd be in foul trouble soon enough with Crowder joining the effort. We look weak, panicked and amateurish.. Lebron and Schroder throw some brick layups and that's about it. They keep wasting entire clocks watching Lebron play hot potato with KCP and Caruso. You guys can't shoot, go to the rim.. force the pace get to the line.
We know Bron and AD not being themselves/injured is the main reason we are struggling but I compared the rest of roster shooting numbers in this series vs during the 2020 title run for the sake of it . Obviously (way) smaller sample size : 2020 playoffs non AD and Bron players shooting numbers : 21/48.7 43% 3pts shooting : 8.7/25.6 34% 2021 playoffs non AD and Bron players shooting numbers 18.7/48.3 38.7% 3pts shooting : 6.3/22 28.6 % 3pts shooting Lebron and Marc 4.8/10.4 46% Others : 5/22 22.7%
yeah, it's a bad time for one of our team-wide cold spells, for sure. really cost us game 1, which matters a lot now.
Thanks for doing this @wcsoldier81. We all knew the shooting was bad but this just shows us how bad. Really hard to win with these kind of numbers, no matter how good our defense is.
Yeah on the TNT telecast Tuesday they said we were the 2nd worst 3 point shooting team in the playoffs. Shocked me that we were that good.
LeBron better tell these guys that hesitating on 3s means a trip to the bench for the rest of the game. There is no path to victory without these bums shooting their way out of this slump.
