wouldn't it be even nicer for clips to go home while at home?

I kinda doubt it but what a beautiful thought nonetheless.

yeah, i keep getting surprised in this series. my pick hasn't changed, but i thought dallas would drop 5 and win 6, then lose in 7 (and a reasonable chance they drop both 5 and 6).

i thought they pulled out the zone too early, and the clippers got to figure it out. but it still helped limit leonard and george's attempts a bit, which is helpful. i'm a little surprised the clippers haven't decided to just take luka all the way out of the offense considering how little the rest of the mavs are offering. seems like they're trying to wear him out more on defense maybe, which i don't think is the right strategy. just gotta get the ball out of his hands early and see if the others can beat you 4 on 3.

anyway, here's to the clips losing one more.

I only caught the second half.

Agree. They have to take the ball out of his hands at this point.

    I'd continue to blitz him.

He's just abusing single coverage at this point.

I thought Dallas did a good job throwing another defensive coverage just to change things up.

Kawhi was due for an off night and apparently was fatigued. PG went PG in the last 2 mins.

    And yeah, go Mavs! Lol

It is dark humor hilarious, but of course the difference is this is the Clipper story every year.

Paul Rudd is a damn vampire. The man was 50 at the time of the filming of that episode.

True but the Clippers can't either. If all stays the course then Dallas prevails.

He pissed me off n the regular season with his ball stopping last year but I've grown to love Rondo. Based on the time left that was a stupid shot by Kawhii and Rondo called him on it. Hope he destroys their chemistry now

they blasted dallas in games 3 and 4 and can do it in games 6 and 7. i hope it doesn't happen, but we've literally just witnessed it. i think carlisle's out of tricks after the big lineup/zone mix-up (both genius, btw--zigged when lue expected zag, and lue claiming he saw it coming was sort of evidence he didn't, imo). his only resort now is to go small to match the clips (this is what lue was expecting in game 5 but got ambushed), and that lineup has been s*** for dallas all year.

they need another high volume 50% 3 pt shooting game or they're toast.

that was a perfect pass by rondo. Should be catch and shoot instead kawhi pump faked. I remeber the lakers had a same play with nash and kobe. Ofcourse kobe sinked that shot. And a nice looking pass by nash! I know kobe can make that shot, imo the pass was more impressive though.

btw: with us going out, dallas better be ready to win by a lot if they plan to win. utah/dallas/denver/phx is silver's nightmare. no casual fan will watch the rest of the wc or finals without at least one of the la teams left, imo.

How dare you imply that NBA refs would ever slant their calls. :ADnaughty:
