If you value quality basketball by players who give a s***, they you turned off our dumpster fire off a game and watched this man go to work...

    Then

    Here's my offer...
Roster swap any players not named Bron or AD and as many picks as they want. Kuz, KCP, Trezz, THT, DS. All the picks. 5 years worth of 1sts. Take it all. We'll even do the scouting for a few of those picks for them.

They’ll never trade him, he’s their entire franchise, but yes I agree, I said in game time I’d trade anyone (other than LeBron/AD) and anything not nailed down for Lillard. He’d complete this team. I’d “settle” for Beal as well.

Portland would be stupid to trade Dame for anyone on our team other than AD (which we obviously wouldn’t do).

Oh, I agree. He'd have to force his way here and he's happy going down with that ship.

He's different and the coldest man left in the game. Closest thing to Kobe's killer and clutch gene out there but with Steph range.

There's a .0000000000001 percent chance of getting him. But I'd take him over anyone in the entire league. Doesn't get enough appreciation with a perpetual losing franchise and with zero rings in his future.

Sure we are but it's all about 18 and passing the C Bags .

Not going to happen with all the shot brickers on this roster

We should just hold an open tryouts or something. I don't care if you're 5'2, 40y/o, can't run or jump. As long as you can shoot, you're hired. With Bron and AD you WILL get open looks, just make the damn shots. This is beyond pathetic.

wouldn't happen with bron and lillard either

you need a strong supporting cast to win a title. last year, KCP and rondo were huge in the finals. this year, no one can make a shot

good lord. two stepback 3s down 3 with 5 seconds left in each instance. unbelievable.

and no, trading AD for him doesn't improve us or them. and no, they'd never entertain another offer from us (or really, from most teams). i think it would take a young, established perennial allstar to get him, and nobody's offering that until dame asks out, which i doubt he does.

btw, everyone talking about him for AD when really him + AD would be ring city as much as him + lebron.

I don't feel like digging up history and searching thru old posts but i can swear, 95% of this board was beyond happy when we got Shröder, Metthews, Trez, Marc and even Drummond. I myself, thought we had an incredible offseason... makes me wanna give up my GM'ing dreams

i was happy with all but drummond, and i'm still happy with all but drummond. schroder going 0-9 yesterday just felt like having danny green back, tbh.

I think I liked our off season. It’s hard to remember but we were really good before the injury bug starting kicking in. This was always going to be a tough year with the off season being so short and having no practice time. I’d still trade Danny Green for Dennis any day. At least Dennis CAN get hot. Greens basket ball couldn’t find its way to the basket with a GPS tracker on it.

Of course we were happy having Schroder.

    He was great in OKC.

And there's times where he's been really good for us. He just lacks consistency with his three point s***.

He also likes to get downhill. It doesn't help when you have two bigs clogging the middle.

That said, he can still go.

We need more of a Malcolm Brogdon archetype.

well, we didn't offer that before he was basically a non-factor in the playoffs, so i don't see why we would now. nobody else is going to, either. my prediction has been that he'll be playing somewhere else for less money than we offered him.

that bastard. seriously. he got clean looks here.
