Actually we’re not ready for them yet so that seems like an odd thing to be doing. But I think fine by most of us here. A lot of rust to be worked off now both LeBron and Schroder and very little cohesion built during the season due to the injuries. None yet with our two superstars and AD2 all three on the floor offense and defense, save the couple games LBJ tried before shutting down again.
The whole West is scared .. All we have to do ( a giant task) is to get healthy , the mental battle is already won
Agreed even though Clippers have been kind of in the same situation as ours injuries wise ( just a little bit better I'd say). I think Clippers are hoping more we'll get bounced before the WCF than facing us the latest possible .

The Clippers 100% tanked yesterday to avoid the Lakers.. They rested Kawhi, PG, Beverly & Jackson against HOU & threw the game..
funny how each team seems to want to avoid the other in round 1 i know as a fan the last thing i want is a first round matchup against those guys

It's sad because Clippers probably would have had the edge against us if it was EARLIER in the playoffs since we're just finding our rhythm and coming off injuries...but they still chose to be b**** made and avoid us at all costs. I bet Rondo/Cousins are pissed off about it too...those 2 are competitors and they'd love to see the Lakers in the 1st round...

really not sure why the clippers wanted to avoid this lakers team in round 1 considering all the questions surrounding bron and AD's health
especially when they're healthy right now, and kawhi breaks down over time. i think they wanted to avoid portland in round 1 as much as they wanted to avoid us, tbh. portland's playing well, and lillard's got it in for george. clips want none of that. dallas looks weak to me, this year. luka's scary, but zinger is perpetually injured, as have been a couple important role players for them (kleber, specifically--which hurts when your front line is already bad). clips know they should kill dallas and get some rest.
