Not much material to work with tonight.

    Kuz says hold my beer.

You mean 1-11 boy?......and do you understand the definition of poverty?

And if you don’t, you’ll drink a little water and the rest vodka. They both look the same.

    Jordan, having Kwame flashbacks.

No I think it still qualified as garbage.

Too bad he still walk on all fours.

They have fashion in Charlotte? What are they wearing , hay?

Most have taken his hand pills today.

    That future is already here.

    Don’t diss McGrady like that.

No that’s number 1 Laker defense.

I believe the correct term is your f**ked.

You’ll get no augment from me.

    ESPN highlight reel.

    Don’t be so sure.

Took an overtime but good to steal a game.

Illyasova looked like Steph out there....but he’s still a little poodle. woof woof.

You upped you percentage of 3’s taken to obscene numbers. 59 out of 101 shots. That’s almost 60% of your possessions.

Get a grip. It’s not a playoff game. Get out and enjoy the sun. Come back and check the score. You’ll still lose but at least you’ll have a tan.

He did chuck up 27 shots, so...yeah.

No you slipped into the 3 zone. Where it’s illegal to go into the paint for a shot.

    Trez, Drummond, Dennis...take your pick.

    Definitely chuck-a-paloosa

The best is yet to come. Just when you think you have a chance....

Better take a pregnancy test because he is going to scr*w you.

He’s got some long arms and he’s not afraid to use them.

Yep and you’re about to flame out in OT.

Time to send Hubie back to Egypt and entomb him again. Let his rest.

Get in the back of the line. Steve Nash is before you.

When he says “this young man”, it could mean anyone who isn’t dead yet.

    Bionic toe?

    Rookie?

Sorry no refunds but I can do an exchange for this slightly used Deng.

Yep and your teams just as burnt.

This puts a smile on my face. So happy to know it happens to teams other than the Lakers.

This is the last happiness you will have, enjoy it. Over time is right around the corner.

Don’t be sad because it’s over. Smile because it happened.

Yuck I had one of those cookies the other day. Not nearly as good as “the REAL MVP Cookie”.

Someone in their game thread said they hadn’t won OT since 2017-2018 season. I’m too lazy to look it up but WOW.

I remember watching Hubie as a kid in the 80s teaching basketball to kids, freshly fired by the Knicks, I later found out, and he was old then.

Wow @Cookie you really laid into Hubie lol... I would have never taken you as an ageist!
    :Shaqlaughing 2:

He had it coming. Near the end of the game Hubie was pretty transparent about being pro-Jazz. It was almost like he was trying to coach them as a color commentator

It wasn’t so much that he was old but he is losing it. He’s calling players by their wrong names. He said something along the lines of their outside that 3 point thing etc. Guys just not with it anymore.

Understandable. Chick Hearn-itis... He would call players other names during his last years.

I'm easy on the old dog. I think he is much better than the ones that pass themselves as commentators.

Not long after a period when I and family members or friends were graced 4 or 5 times with seats exactly behind Chick and Stu (think it was around the year of first championship of the 3 peat, maybe a year prior .... if I had set my beer on the concrete ledge behind them and knocked it over literally it would have been all over them  ) .... I remember one game shortly after that time Chick called, "ball into Kareem" . I winced at the mis-call. @KareemtheGreat33 would probably have had to go clean himself off in front if he happened to hear that. :giggle:

"Kobe hippity hopping into the front court. Throws the ball into Shaq. Shaq is double teamed, whips a pass out to Worthy who hits the jumpshot. "

    Fox became Worthy...

Wow is right, Cookie. Jan. 24, 2018 was the last time they won in OT, reg season or playoffs.

We won but I guess “Magic” Johnson has us on a diet because we’re fat. So it’s just a small snack tonight guys.

Cookie still says 80% because when the chips are down, it’s because they weren’t chocolate.

]Magic vs Lakers is always a good game.

    [/QUOTE]

    Especially in the finals.

Until Dennis and Trez said enough and took over.

    Have any we can borrow?

Bacon was cooking for awhile but then the heat in the pan got turned up and he wrinkled up and the grease
    came poring out.

Mo better lock his butt in the weight room in the off season. Don’t forget the cardio this time though.

That head gets really heavy with that long giraffe neck.

Great win. Guys hustled and played with urgency. So nice to play a team with fans.

Were the hottest team in the league.

Nugget fan?.....don’t want my kids hanging around a bad influence.

    Embarrassed it is.

Is this what people are talking about when they say analytics?

There was a gut punch for sure but it was AD blocking your shot at the end.

Not much of a super power.

McGee in a nutshell....or maybe just a nut.

Kind of like the NYC subway pizza rat. No matter how big that piece is, he never gives up.

    It’s not you, it’s us.

    Who’s your daddy now?

Good news is, you did and you even lost another point.

Must have been that clean mountain air you brought with you.

Take a Prozac and call me in the morning.

A mode we know all to well lately.

Yes it was senior on kid abuse and he didn’t even have to use his cane on you.

Well he only gets to play every 6 or so games. So he’s got a lot of pent up frustration. So do we as Laker fans.

They get intimidated by all the banners hanging in the rafters.

He’s ready....ready to play in China.

Nope and to think this is the same sport as the Wiz/Pacer 141-154 game from today.

So MPJ not moving is somebody else’s fault?

    Like father like son.

    Oh go eat a beet.

I was going to say he’s mine f*ckstick but don’t think that sounds very good. So I’ll just say he’s ours.

Bald Eagles can be scary. Plus they can poop on your head.

Is Granny over 6 feet tall?...you’re hired.

Instead of playing Steve Wonder songs better change it to Queen....We are the Champions.

Good it will make you easy to find at the next game.

That’s where they just came from.

I’d really appreciate if you could do the same to the Clippers this year. That’s if we don’t knock you out first.

*Lose to the Lakers in the first.
