How do you feel about a potential Finals matchup with the Nets assuming both teams are healthy?

  1. Very confident, the Nets won’t be able to matchup with our front line.

Hurt feelings over a league wide attack against the flat earth coalition.

They're without LMA too. He's under the weather after being dominated by Drummond

Are we sure it’s family reasons and not that D. Schroder got him upset and into his feelings now on social media?

Watch the Sixers or another team take them out before we ever have to worry about them. We just need to worry about and stop crapping the bed every time we play the Clippers.

Both teams understaffed, so not much you can take away from this except that maybe we are deeper. They may be more top heavy on scoring, but it does appear from the box score we have a decisive edge on defense.

That bodes well for the playoffs.

LMA just announced his retirement due to an irregular heartbeat. Feel bad for him but I’m ecstatic to see the Nets weakened!

Wow. DJ back to center. Too bad for LMA but good that something terrible didn't happen.

Blake, Jeff Green, and DeAndre Jordan are their frontcourt players... They better hope they don't play the Sixers or Bucks because Giannis is going to be living in the paint and Embiid is just going to abuse those three down low. And if they ever get to the Lakers, Drummond+AD will put them three all in foul trouble which means KD will have to play center... Good luck, Nets!

Glad he caught it. It's a shame he didn't go out on his terms. He was putting up 13/5/2 for them, they'll miss that. They were screwed with or without him against Philly, Bucks, and us. They'll actually do better in some of those matchups by having to dust off DJ. But if foul trouble, injuries, or covid hit their front court they're in trouble.

i don't trust philly in the playoffs yet, so i think the nets have a great shot at getting to the finals.

we'll have a tougher time just because we won't have had time to iron out all the kinks, and our brand of basketball kind of requires a coordinated team effort.

that said, there's nobody that's going to be favored by much against us if we're healthy, so it's not out of the question.

My prediction: Harden will take out a second mortgage on his soul with the Devil in order to make the Finals.

KD is likely done as far as playing during the entire playoffs run ( or with some limitation)
Kyrie has never been iron man
    Even Haren is injured .

As of now Nets are a biggest question mark than us health wise

Nets ( health) , Sixers ( I don't believe in Embiid being healthy for an entire playoffs run besides some others legitimate questions regarding their play) , us ( health) and Clippers ( Kawhi breaking down and Playoffs P choking) .

Bucks - Suns Finals incoming .

Personally I like our chances. We are the team to beat and we are winding up with good timing in terms of AD and Lebron coming back. Just in time to warm up for the playoffs.

without KD, the lakers have the edge over the nets if the two teams meet in the finals. kyrie+harden isn't enough to get it done against a healthy lakers team with how poor their defense is. they would need their 3 pt shooters to stay hot the entire series to have a chance to win

clippers should be the lakers main concern though

Waaaay too much Nets fear if we are healthy. You kidding? They have to be missing KD before you like our chances? SMH.

If the standings remain the same

Nets 1st round vs MIA, 2nd round vs MIL and ECF vs PHI. That's a brutal road to even make it out of the East. Good luck with that if you're BKN with a distracted Kyrie and injured KD

Let's face it too that post achilles KD even if healthy is unlikely to be whatever level defender he was before, and they are small inside once DJ sits, and he ain't what he used to be either. We're going to bully the crap out of them while still remaining eminently skilled and with the best defense in the frickn' NBA. But let's get out of the West first and past the Clippers. We are considerably better this year than last year when we beat a stronger Denver and we worked Utah during the season, though they have improved a lot too.
