    i hope we don't make any trades. it will mean THT goes out with KCP for a middling vet, imo, and that's really not helpful. try to get drummond and the best wing that shakes loose and go after it.

    Lakers can't match salaries without trading DS and KCP and I have no idea why Toronto would want that those two anyways. Toronto trying to push a hard bargain here.

    I think Boston has a big trade exception that Drummond would fit within. So if they want him, they could probably be one of the few teams to easily trade for him without really giving up anything other then maybe like a second rounder to give Cleveland some incentive.

    They’ve been the main team I’ve thought might steal Drummond from us, but it seems they may rather wait and see if they can use the exception this summer.

    In regards to Lowry ... man, sign me up for DS + KCP for Lowry in a heartbeat. And honestly I feel like I’ve only heard scrubs involved in the rumored packages from other teams, so that may actually be a decent package. I might feel better about locking up Lowry for 2 more years as opposed to Schröder for 4 more years, and I think Lowry is a better fit.

    I would be VERY happy if Lakers can get Drummond+Reddick in buy-outs. I like our current team. When fully healthy, Lakers were the top seed in the NBA. No need to make a huge trade here...

    Redick has a very nice podcast going, he would be wise to sign with the Nets to leverage his basketball career into a media career post-basketball

    I think Schröder for Lowry would be a mistake, Lowry is 34 already (correction, turns 35 tomorrow). Dennis has his flaws, but he’s only 27 and will be able to play at least defense at this level for years still.
