Do they have any kind of “consistency” metric? This guy would have to be at top of the league or close to it.

Speaking of Steve Nash...will the Lakers give him a video tribute for the 18 games he played for us?

Yeah, the video tribute would be 99% of Nash laying on the floor because his back gave out on him.

LeBron is currently at 34,985 career points.

Unless something weird goes down, it'll be nice to see him eclipse 35,000 against the Nets

With the defense they play, I can't see him scoring less than 25. 30+ is more likely.

Still surreal. I wasn't alive when KAJ retired and Karl Malone's points with the Lakers didn't really make him a Lakers. Seeing LeBron reach 35,000 points will be an amazing feat. When he breaks KAJ's record, that will be a record that we will never see again. Once-in-lifetime achievement. Hopefully, it will happen with the Lakers. He's 3403 points from breaking KAJ's record. If he scores a modest 22 points per game, he should break KAJ's record in 2 more seasons (not including this).

That baby sky hook across the key, with all the other options defenses have to guard him for, looks ridiculously easy for him to get and hit at a good - really good % any time he wants it.

He's had nice form on that shot for years but some reason doesn't use it a lot. It's a great counter move when teams try to overplay for the turnaround, hope he goes to it more

I think if he world have gone into playoff mode and given 110%, we could've stayed in it and possibly won (if D could stop the 3 ball) because they could not stop him from driving. But a game in February isn't worth him killing himself over. It's not even a proper measuring stick cause neither team was near 100%.

    Fun stat

They lost the Lebron minutes but definitely agree it was in non-Lebron minutes that momentum just swung the other way and then the hole became too big too climb out of.
If anything Lebron playing 42-44mpg in a FInals game this was a bright side is that they'll having a hard time letting Durant hide on defense: he'll have to be on James a lot otherwise it looked like Jeff Green and the French guy was a layup line for James or an easy post up

Boy the calf muscles on the leg where achilles tendons have ruptured don’t seem to ever come back to normal. As hard as you know Kobe went at his rehab his never looked quite the same, but KD’s right calf looked only 2/3 or less the size of his left. And he’s not the huskiest calf guy to start with.

That Nets game reminded me of LeBron against the KD Warriors. If this Laker team played the Nets without AD, Bron would put up huuuuge numbers but they would get killed.

AD healthy is a different story but if they’re not hitting open 3’s they’re not making the finals anyway. I mean they’re frickin wide open. Lookin at u KCP.
