Dude .... are you sure about that .... no blackouts .... say in Los Angeles .... for the Los Angeles Lakers?

I think you’re wrong, Sparky. Would bet your house on it ..... just in case, not mine. :giggle:

This sucks, particularly for him and what he’s already gone through. Regarding the NBA though, this may be getting out of hand already, like the Wizards alone have 5 players who have tested positive. You have to think this sort of stuff was going to happen with players and staff living normal lives, traveling the country to play games, and possibly even having some fans in attendance, this isn’t a bubble. I wonder how much longer until we see a pause or some kind of new actions taken like maybe vaccinating players.

NBA is in a tough spot. Vaccinating the players at any point before front line workers, elderly and others at risk would be a PR nightmare.

Probably, but I don’t know what else they can do. It’s either possibly lose another season continue to lose money, maybe endanger the league. There’s also probably an argument that these men HAVE to travel for their jobs and if they’re coming back with this many positive tests this early on then they could be considered a threat to spread it coming from them. So vaccinating them might be for the public as well if looked at that way, I dunno.

Again... Sirron is out of the country. There are no blackouts, hence the comment.

Also..the blackouts are usually due to nationally televised games, no? Shouldn't you be getting those with your basic package?

Apparently he can’t go back to the last team he was traded from if bought out. If Cleveland trades him he can’t go back there, but he can return to LA if there was a trade in between. I don’t know how it would work with our money situation, I can’t remember if we are hard capped, but we do already have a 15th roster spot open. I’d love to have him back too, just an insurance big and good locker room guy as far as I can tell.

INTERNATIONAL while replying to sirron who is not in US.

Yeah... I am pretty sure, considering I've been using it for the last 7 years or so. Outside of US. With no blackouts.

I read that Indy could have voided the trade but chose not to. My hope and assumption is they caught it early enough that it didn’t concern them long term (for Levert’s sake; screw Indy).

    Hope it's nothing serious.

Either the Pacers aren't worried about it or were promised to be taken care of later by the Nets and Rockets. Cause all that got added as compensation was cash and a 2nd round draft pick. Otherwise they gave up a big trade chip for potentiality nothing.

Silver wants to expand rosters to 18 because of Covid, if McGee is let go, I would bet he comes back.
