    That's quite the drop off from Strahan. Probably a hell of a lot cheaper and maybe less distracting. I liked him as Shane, I wonder if he'll rub his head every time he gets mad in this too.

    Not sure he can carry a series if he were to get a spinoff though.

    This tells me he's not getting a spin-off but for now he's got the opportunity for it. I'm really excited about this casting though I think he'll make a really fine Punisher.

    I'll be honest. I hate this casting. I was so happy when
    he died in Walking Dead.
    Hated him as an actor. It wasn't the good kind of hate like Joffery in Game of Thrones where he was so good in the role you hated the character. It's the bad kind of hate where he's a no-talent, a**-clown of an actor who is turning a potentially interesting character into an insufferable tool.

    Please, Bernthal. PLEASE don't ruin my second favorite show.

    Wow so how do you really feel? :D

    You know, you and I are intelligent people capable of thinking through things and coming to conclusions but somehow we almost never agree. :D :D :D

    I dug him in Walking Dead. I thought he did a good job. I've dug him in any number of small roles he's had from Wolf of Wall Street to Fury. He's a pretty actor and I think he can really embody what the Punisher is.

    At least Owen is funny and has some charisma. Owen Wilson as the Punisher would be the most amazing fit ever.

    I know nothing about Holland, but I'm glad it's done. Interesting he did screen tests with Evans since he only has two more movies on his contract and he's well into filming one of those two. Evans in years past said he was looking forward to being out of the Marvel business. Maybe he's changed his tune?

    What I've heard is that he's come to love the part as it's grown. It's a pain in the butt staying in shape and he wants time to do other projects soon but uh...
