Wow, if everything is true about what Vanessa's mother is doing, she is one sick individual. If not to respect Kobe and Vanessa, why would you put your grandchildren through all of this? They needed their grandmother more than ever with the holiday season coming up but I guess money is really all she cares about.

Yeah not sure about the blue checkmark, but that’s definitely Metta. Unless this account has duped 655.3K followers and is really committed to the bit of pretending to be MWP. Looks like this account was even cited by ESPN before.

    https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id...ce-campaigns-twitter-knicks-head-coaching-job

I suppose nobody really NEEDS a blue checkmark, and Metta is probably crazy enough to not know how or not care enough to request verification :D

Can't say it has happened me at this level, and luckily not with my mother, but stuff like these do happen in families sadly.

Also, so far I'm very far from being a grandfather (I'm not even a father), but man, I can't even begin to imagine myself charging for taking care of my grandchildren.

Finally, $96 per hour? Maybe I didn't choose the correct path in life.

Lets now talk about something better: Happy 62-61 after 3. 81 points are pretty damn awesome, but this is was just nuts. This was actually his first 60-points game. I remember that while I understood why he didn't play in the 4th, I was kinda mad because his previous career-high (56 points) had also been in just 3 quarters (against Pau and the Grizzlies) and I always felt Kobe was the kind of player who should have at least a 60 points game as a career-high, especially since T-Mac had scored 62 in 2004 and Iverson 60 in the same 2005 (previous season though), and at this point in time, the only active players with a 60 points game were T-Mac, Iverson and Shaq.

I really hate how s***ty both of their families have been over the years. Kobe"s auctioned of his memorabilia and they had to fight to get it back. They had early issues with Vanessa. And now this b******* from her POS mom.

    1) it's Christmas. The first one the family has had without Kobe.
    2) it's only a month away from the 1 year anniversary.
    3) this is when she should be stepping up as a mother/grandmother, not looking for handouts when I'm sure she's already being well taken care of. Instead this will end her relationship with them.
    4) I am confused by this for the same reasons I was when Kevin Hart's friend set him up and tried to blackmail him for getting with that girl. Even if you get what you want, you're cutting off your relationship with your meal ticket. Your 1 time payout will not equal what you're getting for the rest of your life by staying in their proximity. Short sided even if you're only in it for the money.

Still f***ing sad. Even in the longest year in history, it doesn't seem like that was a year ago.

This makes so much sense. I have been complaining about Kobe gear being scarce for years. Nike website is garbage. There is nothing out there in normal places, you have to go into the black hole of ebay to get s*** you want. Nothing at footlocker, Champs, nothing.

Man, f***!!!! why did he have to die?! God damn, if COVID had happened just 6 weeks earlier he would have never been on the helicopter. This f***ing sucks and it never stops sucking.

if I convinced myself to buy his space shoes back in the day (on a far more limited budget mind you), there is no doubt I would have copped the mambas
