My thoughts exactly. It just doesn't make sense to take the ball out of Lebron's hands when he's in there and especially now that he has Gasol as well to orchestrate the offense. We need Schroder for the bench unit.

And yes start Wes, please. Having him and KCP out there with Lebron, Gasol and AD will be excellent. That's a half court game they are emphasizing so putting our best wing shooters/defenders in that lineup should be fantastic.

Let Schroder use his speed and fearlessness by leading an uptempo bench unit with Harrell, Caruso, Kuz and AD/Morris. They will crush people.

If we see it, you can be sure that Vogel sees it. I think he is starting Schroder right now to let the results make it obvious that his best role is first man off the bench. Vogel has to balance what Schroder wants with what's best for the team.

Starters: Gasol / AD / KCP / Matthews / LeBron
Bench: Trez / Kuz / THT / AC / Schroder

That bench unit is better than several team's starters. Schroder runs the team off the bench, and we extend leads by killing other teams second units while also limiting Lebron's minutes without much of a drop off.

I absolutely agree TIME. I do think Vogel is doing a balancing act re: Schroder. It was clear that Schroder's agent pushed for him to be a starter before he signed and that is what he's been talking about. I think Vogel is doing a good thing of trying it out to both appease him in a way and to give it a shot to see what it looks like. I do believe he will come to the same conclusion and bring him off the bench even if he gives it a chance for a bit.

Yup, Schroder playing with Lebron won't work. He will need to come off the bench. Pick and roll the opposing bench to death with Trez.

Schroder has not shown up well in the preseason. He might need more time to acclimate. Pressure and more eyes on you changes things. We will see how he adapts.

If Frank is as smart as he is...

Tier 1: KCP Wes Bron AD Marc

Tier 2: Dennis AC Kuz Trez

    Tier 3: THT Kief

That's it. Do not overthink it.

EDIT: replied without seeing the last page. LOL. Rare consensus.

Unsurprisingly the best lineup we had on the floor tonight was indeed: KCP, Wes, Lebron, AD and Gasol that started the second half. That needs to be the permanent starting lineup. It’s very clear.
