I want Kuz, Schröder, THT, Trezz and Matthews to play as much as possible together during this preseason. If they get some continuity and rhythm, good luck stopping us.

I dunno man. Based on what we saw last night in the first pre-season game after four short practices and no pickup games, by the bench except probably Matthews ..... good luck to us repeating this year. Guys missing shots, not finishing layups and some raggedy a** play out there.

Amazes me how often the truly now "Bald" Eagle gets forgotten in these combos we'd like to see scenarios. Considering he's also not going to be in that starting lineup.

    ;)

So who’s going to be our new punching bag this season? We need someone to replace Danny Green. I’m guessing either Kuz or Schroder.

    My money is on Kuz.
Schroder will be crying about not being in the starting 5 20 games in though...

Kuz is definitely the leader in the clubhouse. Look for KCP to make a strong push too with that new contract.

I think LeBron goes back to barely playing D, so maybe he gets some grief too.

I noticed that as well. Yet another reason I think he will not end up starting as he hopes. KCP and Wes won’t give off that vibe ever.

yeah, lebron gave some half-assed efforts for large chunks of the regular season last year, and there's no way that doesn't continue from here on out. but he's just bought so much goodwill that most (including me) will give him a pass that i won't give to others.

We could use 1 more big. Just not sure about Harrell. He brings a ton of energy but we lose some length

I'm surprised we have seen very little of Alfonzo McKinnie

Playing only 8 guys seems weird . Don't get why Schroder and Wes didn't play

Schroder and Matthews are getting their minutes and rotation regardless of how well they perform in the preseason. I think Vogel wants to figure out who is worthy of being the 5-10th option at this point. He's letting the other players fight it out for the spot. He's got a tough decision to make. Every single player from the Lakers minus Cook, McKinnie, and Dudley can get consistent 20-25 minutes per game.

    Instant overreaction from the game:

I hate Schroder playing with Bron and Marc. All 3 of our best facilitators out there together does its a great disservice to our 2nd unit. Plus he went Houdini out there and shrunk with those around him. Not involved, not sure if he looked to score 1x with that unit. I think Trez and Kuz need him. I think that trio could be the best trio off any bench in the league. I know he's here to limit Bron's PG duties, but I think he's better suited doing that by letting Bron rest.

Wes needs to start. Missed some easy ones. But the style and smarts he plays with is an ideal fit with our starters. He's what DG should've been.

I want THT to look to pass a little more on his drives. Everyone knows he's going to look to score, it'll keep the D honest and guessing.

Is it 100% true that Schroder wants to start? I heard that he would do whatever it takes to help the team win in a separate interview but it's likely he also implied to the Lakers that he would rather start. I get him wanting to start so he can get that money but I do think he's better suited for the bench role. To be fair, it was also the first game he's played with LeBron and vice-versa so hopefully they learn how to adjust soon.

I prefer Wes starting as well. The issue we have isn't when LeBron is on the court but when LeBron is off the court. The production just plummets when he isn't there so Schroder would be huge there.
