I mentioned it earlier. Dwight's agent and his own impatience with the Lakers cost him playing with this incredible roster toward a second ring in a row .... to now being a teammate of the great leaders Harden and Embiid. You lead em Dwight. Make yourself "for free again" play as hard for those guys as you did here. I don't see this all working.

Kind of like Dwight saying to Ty Lue, "hold MY beer" for my Lakers employment decision.

i believe he has two years BEFORE the player option. again, AD, PG, most other cases like this involve guys with just one year to go before they can walk.

Damn, you're right. This is uncharted territory in that sense.

I'm not sure he has a ton of pursuers. His contract is already so huge, how do you match contracts and provide picks, etc? Such a huge price to pay for a guy you aren't sure you can go "all in" on, but especially when he's showing character flaws like this.

I would like Ben Simmons to have his own team. Ben/Mike Scott for Harden works.

He deserves Morey. They deserve each other.

but what if Morey secretly wanted away from Harden?

except we won't be scouting for the next kids whilst hoping these ones finally get good enough for us to finish 10th instead of 12th.

man i'm glad that's over. it was brutal, in general and in here.

yeah, i think if simmons had a team built to highlight his abilities, it could be good and fun to watch. imagine if lonzo was 4 inches taller, stronger, and could finish at the basket and guard 1-4.

wouldn't be the first time morey publicly pumped up his asset for us to find out later he was desperately trying to rid himself of it.

Wants to be traded to a "contenda" after having a team that was a contenda but his style of play and lack of heart sabotaged its chances in the playoffs. Beard stroking time rinse and repeat.

Imagine if you didn't like your job, so you did the natural thing to change your situation. You stopped turning up to work and started being seen/filmed at night clubs and strip clubs the night before work. The consequences, you force a move to a job on equivalent pay and face no consequences.

I hope Harden has this backfire on him so badly.

i just wish it happened to morey. the new guy in houston doesn't deserve to clean up morey/harden/MDA's mess. in the end, all three will parachute out with no accountability for their inability to get the job done after a lot of preening and self-congratulation from that franchise over the years.
